Yeah I’m on the fence with this one. Love their games and I play them to death, but I’m still not sure just yet.

My question is, of those that you listed (which are credible sources), how many of those exact journalists followed up and said “they’re buying their way to victory”? Maybe they all did, haven’t seen it myself.
That’s my point.
Also.. most of those links support my initial comment as well. We all had been hearing this from Phil, his team and the fanbase since early in this gen.

The only people telling them to invest in studios were their own fanbase after realizing year after year that there is a clear and steady lack of games.
Misunderstanding on my end. Got confused with all the “exclusive” nonsense they pulled again this year.
Thought it was an exclusive. Got confused with the “exclusive premiere” or “console launch exclusive”.
Overall it went well. I’d give it a C+.
The only thing that truly excited me was the game from From Software. Looked beyond stellar as an exclusive.
Not just that, but we won’t really see much of their work for a good while. And the other half of the problem is that the fanbase needs to actually buy SP games that they may develop.
The trio of Phil, Aaron and Larry have hyped this E3 up, along with much of the fanbase.
Hoping there’s more games than just Anthem, Metro Exodus, BFV, and Assasins Creed since a lot of info for those has been leaked even today.
It’s only good for a consumer if they can invest into a console that has games. MS’ good consumer practices only go as far as selling consoles these days.
It’s one of the tactics they did back in the early Xbox One day’s. Short term gain against the PS4’s price, long-term loss without games.
They did this last year saying they had 30+ exclusives. Hyping themselves up for some major critiques if they don’t deliver.
More like it didn’t take long for the Xbox fanbase to pretend like they didn’t hype this up every year.

I would say the only actor who I’d feel comfortable playing Kratos...if there was a GOW movie...would be Joaquin Phoenix.
Screwing over the vast majority of their fanbase. The games look good, and will play well, but to say your focus is on Forza and Xbox One X only does a disservice to those who still have the OG Xbox one or even the X1S.
