What’s worse for MS is that the big industry push for digital is going to solidify people to a specific console from this gen and onwards.
With almost all 3rd-party games selling better on PS4, and with forward compatibility of games being one of the top requested feature for future consoles, why would anyone abandon their library of digital games if they went all or partially digital this gen?
It seemed like a solid list. Just a shame that games meant as surprises are getting leaked just like the last few years.

These topics are only coming up because people finally realize, with GOW out, how MS has underperformed and under-delivered when it comes to exclusives.
Developing new devs doesn’t guarantee quality. You need both to make consumers actually care about the platform when it comes to exclusives.

Not only do I not have time anymore with my job, but most end up just poorly delivering on content and gameplay after more than a month.

I get the nostalgia argument one could make when comparing the two, but it’s not that different based on what I’ve seen.
While I agree with the concept, because many can’t afford all these great games coming out or bought a console that doesn’t have that exclusive, watching it is only half the fun and half the story.
The problem is that many say “I’ll just watch it on YouTube” as a dig at the fact that they think they can get the same experience as playing the game. Their opinions should not hold the same value as someone who has played it.

Seriously, the lack of imagination for different IPs from some devs is astounding.
I guess meant forward compatible meaning that games developed NOW are developed to be played next gen. I messed up in the way I phrased it.
I don't see it holding it back. PS5 will have it's own set of games playable only on it while games from your PS4 library should also just seamlessly transition over with no extra effort.
