I feel like the lack of Final Fantasy is what made it lack for me. Good game but there was some emptiness to it.

As for Death Stranding, it was a top game of mine for sure. But not an absolute perfect score the way people explained it and also not a dud they way others did. GOW is an example of a perfect score game for me this gen, and DS was not that.

So you haven’t played it yet? And you’re saying it deserves to be on these types of lists?

Can’t tell based on your comment whether you have or haven’t. That’ll determine a lot on whether or not your take matters.

Yeah I know. PS4 is over 50 million ahead. Xbox is in the high 40s and the Switch is catching up to them quick. Crazy how the market actually is vs the perception that some fans have.

Holiday numbers are always off a bit, but at the same time there’s predictable success for the big three.

Off topic:
Pretty crazy that the closest competitor in sales to the Xbox One is the Switch, not the PS4.

@gangsta_red

GeForce Now, Vortex and Jump are a few that come to mind and then there’s more that stream your libraries. Stadia and XCloud coming into play is nothing new, even if people make it seem that way.

Honestly Stadia shouldn’t even be mentioned with how bad it’s doing.

You’re just as late to the party if you think it’s finally competitive. Streaming from various platforms has been around for a long, long while.

GamePass doesn’t stream. Your comparison makes no sense.

I wouldn’t be surprised. As it is multiplayer is behind a paywall. And for some even FREE online games are locked behind a paywall as well.

It’ll only get worse.

Was just thinking that! Was going to get it a weekend or two ago but held off for any BF deals. So glad it’s added this month.

The same issues, except connectivity, were happening with the original Elite controller. Most times the issues got worse where the triggers would just fall off.

Why do they keep comparing GamePass to Netflix? It’s literally nothing close to it compared to Stadia or PSNow. Netflix is 100% streaming with the ability to download certain content (unless you still rent DVDs from them).

@Neonrodir

“MS doesn’t care where you play it”

Lol It’s only available on PC, so I think they do. It’s the best place to play their exclusive titles.

Didn’t we hear this back in 2016? It’s been an empty year for Xbox and continues to be, so I’m not sure what he’s telling people to get used to.

“ If a studio knows FOR CERTAIN that millions of people can play their game day one of release, that'll cause them to become lazy?”

Who said they’d become lazy? MS has no streaming service and their current service is well below PSNow and other services when it comes to market share. MS will surely stop the exclusive launch on GamePass when it picks up.

Finally! Been waiting for a remote play like feature for a while. I travel a ton and can only play Rainbow Six Siege with my Xbox friends when I’m home. Glad this feature is finally coming around on Xbox.

The market is so over saturated right now with these streaming services. When it launched there were only a few. Now you have Disney, Apple, Netflix, Hulu, AT&T, Spectrum and so many more offering some form of streaming.

And to top it off the ones that stay just hike up their prices. I think AT&T is bumping their service another $10-$15 to now $65 and $85 a month for the plus version.
