Unfortunately they’re still on a “meh” streak when it comes to what they’re offering for these monthly games. Hopefully it improves as they get closer to next gen. They have a whole year to improve.
I’ve played the heck out of Siege this gen! Hoping the future brings more games that are built and supported in a similar manner.
Hypes up buying studios and downplays people that think building studios is laughable... forgets that most if not all acquired studios started “organically“ at some point.
Both are good and have pros and cons. It’s just as laughable, if not more laughable, to see comments that think acquisitions is the best and only way to go.
Lol who thought it was a PC? MS has been very specific at marketing it as a home console.
@Septic
Lol Why are you asking me? You, yourself, put an article about this news on your site.
What are you getting at?
Lmao they have the best streaming service and you can even download the games. You’re missing out if you haven’t joined already. Stadia and others are quite a few years behind...
Chill out buddy. He makes a point, especially when the 75% of the reveal trailer was a bunch of random stuff that had nothing to do with the Xbox.
The typical soccer moms that will buy this for their kids will be confused with the naming come next holiday season.
They should have just named it “The Xbox” or just plain old “Xbox”. Going back to old names or rebranding a works well for most.
The current name is gonna cause confusion with casuals, more so the soccer mom buying their kid an Xbox. Will probably happen for only a year or so till MS kills off the current console versions. Naming problem then solved, only the “series” version will then be available.
Damn, I missed yesterday’s since I got out of work late and the site wouldn’t load. I knew I should’ve submitted in the morning lol
Weren’t we hearing this about Xbox each year? We even had ridiculous “year in review” articles saying Xbox had better games line ups. Yet there was never anything to show for it.
If a CGI trailer With no gameplay got people hyped, then next gen will be more of the same.
The Japan name stuff makes so much sense now As to why they have such a hard time selling there! No excuse obviously for other countries. Other American companies have had the same issues in other countries. The Butt X thing is really strange lol but it’s the same each gen. New nicknames and acronyms.
“ I like that its made to look as if its towering over the rest...almost looking down at its competition.”
Lmao it’s just a gaming console, dude. Chill out. It’s probably gonna have some smart home components based on how similar the design is to some current smart speaker designs.
It’ll be $479 or $429 calling it now!
@shiva1
It definitely could be! The gen will probably be over by then since it took them a few years to gain this much steam. But you’re not wrong.
I love the game! Glad more people will get to play it. Sports games really shouldn’t be exclusive.
With the push to all digital, people are going to stay with their respective consoles that they had this gen.
Like why would anyone switch to another console right away if your digital library is built up on another. There’s some people on this site that have “100s of digital games” on their Xbox or PS4 who have said they have no intention of changing next gen with backwards compatibility. They’re only proving that point. The funny thing is that MS pushed for all digital. ...
It’s not at all legit. But you don’t need VGCharts to know that Xbox is probably in last place when it comes to current console sales.
Would be surprised if the switch hits 100 million within the next two years.
They’re hit or miss sometimes. I would recommend Until Dawn, same genre but much better in quality.
Avoid if you’re not too fond on jump scares.
“ As 2019 comes to a close, Microsoft has largely met expectations.”
Not sure about that. Honestly this last stretch of this gen for the Xbox One reminds me a lot of the last years of the 360.
Keep on keeping on, my friend!
