I would be much more likely to consider buying single player action games known to be ~6hrs long if they were 30-40 bucks.
I have no intention of playing a game with no replay value for 10 dollars an hour... that's insane. Might as well go to the arcade and play a slew of different games.

just FYI, as mentioned the real RARE talent (works 2 ways heh) left the company and made Timesplitters, but since then they are now at Crytek UK collaborating on Crysis 2 multiplayer.
Yes haze sucked. They just do multiplayer better. Now they have a chance to focus on that.

There are some relatively good uses for it.
I'd rather have something like BFBC2 VIP then 15 dollar dlc every month. Granted they didn't take full advantage of it, but I still prefer the future of that business model over 1 map you want sold with 3 you already got bored of last year.
