I get the impression many people never played a game on a PC where you had to decide between higher resolution, fps, or more fancy effects.
Yaz made the decision for higher resolution and fps. If people want to debate about the graphics they should start with deciding if that's what they would do given the choice.
If your playing GT right you really don't have time to take in the view. Tunnel vision takes over.
I don't care what people think about the graphics, they impress me, but what I will say is this:
They should bump up the graphical effects for =<720p since the sacrifices they made for it to run at 1080p 60fps are not needed to run the game in 720p60fps. That way if you really want the shadows to be more detailed they can be.
-I always play stealth games pure stealth, this game just made the pure stealth route less fun. There's just less you need to do to hide your presence in conviction.
-The point of the cover/crouch mechanics is that no, I would not want to get shot in the head, obviously, but the way they implemented it was just...not as smart.

So many people know about it, yet so few actually give it time to appreciate the finesse of phantom class racing. It's pretty frustrating to adjust to those speeds, but the rush you get(even more so on zone/zone battle) is unprecedented.
its nothing spectacular to me, but if I was younger I would totally eat that shit up with a spoon and a straw.

Sound is the second most important part to doing well in this game, so make sure you also set up the sound settings for your speakers. Avoid the "TV"...

They don't look like that when you're racing. I could take some screenshots of some standard cars and post them up with the caption "unfortunately all standard cars don't look as good as this premium car" and people wouldn't be able to tell I was lying.
It makes a huge difference when you're in 3rd person mode and the ridiculous amount of shaders come into play from the sun and lights and what not.

the only cars that I know of that can't have engine upgrades and the works, are the ones that have been modeled after modded cars.
So that an upgrade that the car already had, or something close to it, cannot be picked. For instance, it might have engine upgrade 1 and 2 locked out but 3 ready to be bought without the preceding ones because they modeled it as if it was already installed.
