On a general level with angry hyped up internet ranters, that may be true, but gt3 made me a racing fan. People are just closed minded is all, they don't want to step out of their box to enjoy something they normally wouldn't.
It's the same reason some people wont listen to anything other than top 40 hits, once they get accustomed to repeated choruses with ultra boring lyrics and high production values they can't appreciate a real mus...
