if you want to prove something to the companies start by never buying special editions at increased prices.
Remember when one of the halo games came out at 60 dollars for some version, and everyone said they'd never pay 60 bucks for a game?
yea...now its the standard
If people continuously tell the companies that they will dump 70, 80, even 100 dollars of their money into a game then they will seriously consider bumping up the cost of gam...
The guy on the left seemed like he didn't care but was saving face to prove a point that if it were a gang-related game it would have been taken off the air...I.E. racism
"I don't know anything about grand auto..."
BULLSHIT!
He just purposely minced the title even though he knows damn well what it is. Nobody is that bad of a listener, and nobody can avoid the existence of GTA especially someone who seems to be so offended by video games.
It was like one of those closet-nerd jocks that denies knowing about star wars or something when his friends show up.
crossing fingers for planet exploration and LOOT.
i feel bad for Kaz Yamauchi, self-proclaimed perfectionist and sensitive to criticism, because I'm sure all the blogs nitpicking a feature list had him curled up in the corner ready to delay GT5 for another year.
Sure he has millions of dollars to dry his tears with but...man, he's put so much of himself into the game trashing GT5 is like saying "picasso would be good if it weren't for all those random shapes"
"Gran Turismo 5 provides you a lot of content for $60, unfair criticsm is an insult to gaming itself and those who do it are not true gamers in the first place."
boomshakalaka...
treyarch actually used feedback from people like this in making the game.
If you want to have a level up system with perks, you are going to have to withstand a level of bullshit. It comes with the territory. Grow the fuck up or play a tactical realistic shooter.
I'd hate to see this guy in a DOTA/LoL/HoN match...
call of duty needs bollocks or its a generic shooter
remember the level design of goldeneye and perfect dark?
how it really made you feel that your were infiltrating a complex with primary and secondary objectives?
remember how challenging that could be?
ok now go play the BLOPS single player. The difficulty is only the amount of damage done and your inability to see those motherfuckers that re-spawn every second.
We have totally regressed in difficulty. It was genuinely hard ...
i respect him for calling out button-mashing when he sees it.
But this in turn sets the impression that the new DMC will be hard...so bring it.
"I can't use Kinect for our real games; there just isn't a place for our current FPSes on there,"
LOL
a million dreams crushed.
but if course, they will never admit that and respond with angst and indirect anger. gotta love nerds
theres nothing stopping them from denying it either. Then it's all too many instances for police to actually care about.
"hey kids turn in ur ps3s! its the right thing to do! little jonny working at sony won't get a new crutch if this order doesn't go through...you don't want to hurt jonny do you?"
how long was that after launch?
oo0o a sandwhich
ooo hats
the maps took way too long to get going and many of those were community maps
thats cool if you were still playing the game a year later on pc
and on 360?
ps3?
they can't handle their own greatness, they need more people
what your failing to see is im not criticizing their games, its their business model t...
i facepalm your facepalm.
Valve needs to be pretentious about their games to downplay a negative.
even though overall I spent most of my time on a console, I spent most time on a single game on LoL.
Dear Valve,
Please start releasing enough content for your great games for them to be worth the asking price. Sure you gave birth to Half-Life, but you also used the unquestioning fandom that we gave you to release Left4Dead with only 4 scenarios at full price. Orange Box was a great value, but relying on community created maps on your wonderful source engine has become a crutch.
You need more employees.
I know you guys are broskis but you guys can...
If that game came out 5 years ago, as any game not just splinter cell, it would have been trashed by reviewers and gamers alike.
There is nothing redeemable about that game except for the reviewers who got paid to convince people it was.
god forbid anything makes the player use their...whats it called again....
*pauses, looks at online tutorial*
oh yea brain...thats it.
this seemed like it would be a game with cool cut-scenes and mediocre gta drive-here-shoot-this gameplay. Great to know this isn't the case.
