BF2's patch system was a nightmare. I don't remember the specifics, but I remember it flat out refusing to patch correctly despite doing exactly what was needed
Yaz seems like the type of guy that hates the idea of DLC, the patches seem like they'll be "content" if he as anything to say about it. Hell hes probably heartbroken he had to release anything before 2020 and now feels guilty enough to give us free stuff lol

not farming but 1 time per race monies: Special events. Lots and lots of challenges with huge rewards.
I've been too busy doing free runs to tune my ~690HP 71 mustang, that I haven't done too many races. One that stands out as easy money when you have a car for it is the supercar challenges on highspeed ring reverse and daytona. Just don't spin out lol.

skate3 did this quite well
by default it runs at 60fps, but if you go into the options you can turn on/off vsync and also turn on "cameraman mode"
besides making it look like a wide-angle lens, cameraman mode also locks the frame-rate at 30fps and adds a motion blur

One of them in particular(but you're better off with none of them except ABS imo), I think its throttle control. What it does is rapidly input throttle when you try to accelerate while turning. The result of that assist, is that you don't slip and burnout, and pretty much makes drifting impossible from what I've tried.
