It's what makes Rush mode Battlefield style and not counter-strike.
imo the only thing that needed nerfed damage was c4, mines, and possibly helicopters.
Rockets did fairly low damage considering how many you could actually get off against a team that doesn't completely suck and are not able to see the giant stream of smoke coming from that bush/house/boat

you only notice bullet drop more on sniper rifles because your zoomed in INCREDIBLY far. Take a look at the difference between zoomed view and normal and imagine the actual distance where your bullets dropped
