You're presumption is wrong, I'm a Mac user who responded and I use my Mac for Heavy use of Adobe Creative Suite for still graphics and websites, and Final Cut Studio for Video editing.
Show me a £200 laptop which does this as well as my 3 year old MacBook Pro.
I game on PS3 & Wii, & recently dusted off my old original DS for GTA Chinatown. but now my DS battery is flat and I haven't got a clue where the charger is anymore. me idio...

although I agree games can be art, I don't think a game needs to be art to be a good game!
in my opinion,
art = inspiring / thought provoking,
game = fun
both are great in own right,
but i'm just being picky. :)
apparently people have short term memories, only reason why a lot of these newer games make the list. in 10 / 20 years time will COD4, Halo 3, Gears & GTA4 be rated so highly? most of them would struggle to stay in the top 100, except maybe COD4 (in my opinion only) due to replay value.
A poll of top 100 games excluding current gen would be more interesting, come on really? Mario Kart Wii is rated higher than Mario Kart 64... Shame on you gaming public! Shame on you!

The last reason I buy a mac is for it's outside! if OS X was licensed to other hardware manufacturers, I'd be there with my wallet ready.

I'm not going to argue with the pricing, Macs are overpriced. everyone has there own requirements when they shop for a new system, for some people an apple mac will be the right system of choice, for most windows is the better choice. simple.

haha! safari slaughters Internet explorer hands down! a closer comparison would be Safari to Firefox, however there's Chrome is the new kid on the block, and I'm keeping an eye open for the Mac version of this browser.
As a past PC user I spent plenty of time troubleshooting solving windows problems over the years with ease. No problem, except I got tired of this continuously eating into my time! So I bought a Mac, it's not 100% perfect, but for the three years I've had it, (not had to reformat and reinstall the OS in this time) but it's been a lot smoother than the time i used windows.
If Macs are for for people who don't know how to use a computer, then I guess they are also for people who do...
Without reading the article I presumed it was a very early announcement for Spring 2010, but it does clearly say 'this spring' I was concsidering picking of PES 09 recently too! but I'm having second thoughts now

To all the people whinning about windows & OSX,
neither OS is perfect! each has there own benefits and problems and it all depends on your own particular needs, me I stick to OSX but i'd never try and convince a gamer to use OSX! why can't we all be happy with our own choices and not feel the need to push our decisions on everybody else!?!?!?!

Oblivion > GTA4 > Fallout 3 > Far Cry 2
I haven't played mass effect, so I don't know.
I'm sure I remember playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3, and it had a demo of the Pro BMX game, that must of been like 10 years ago, and I wasn't forced to install then :)

I don't believe in a million years that Nintendo were losing money on the wii in the UK, they probably just weren't making as much profit as before the pound sunk like it has! Manufacturing costs of the wii must be a faction of the trade price!
Out of all the download services this is the one which sounds most likely to take off, no longer are you required to download the entire program! just the audio & video and you aren't required to have a gaming PC! just your average PC or MAC will do.
This would definitely interest me (depending on price which I know nothing of yet) but it still wouldn't stop me from buying the games which I feel I have to own!
if Gran Turismo has dated gameplay, then hell I must love dated gameplay!!!
can't wait for this game! In my opinion Gran Turismo is the best racing franchise ever! I love the gameplay, cars, the way you progress, licenses, hell I just love everything about it.
Not that I don't like and enjoy other racing games, the only problem with other racing games is they just aren't Gran Turismo :)
& yet aren't they increasing the price of the wii in the UK due to 'lack of profits'
I'm loosing even more respect for nintendo, and I didn't think that was possible after the wii.
