SC, Assassins creed, Bioshock, Masseffect, etc.
Both games look amazing, I'm looking at some of the split views and I can barely tell the diffrence. lets also not forget things like GT doesnt have damage, which goes into the visual presentation.
I dont see how anyone can be upset this time around.
also how can you have a fair comparison when the cars are not even in the same lighting. some of the sites comparisons only have the cars in common but one is in the shade in the city while the other is outside... like ...

Developers are gamers, they make games they wana play. I think it just shows how tasteful bungie can be. they dont try and act better than anyone else, they just love games. kudos to bungie
PC is also outside of console versions where the PC can have a highly compressed data on the DVD, then durring instalation upackeded up to full size.
360 while can have some compression it doesnt match up to the pcs.
this argument is also flawed. if they designed the game for the lowest common deonominator, it would be the 360, which would then limit it to dvd 9. tho i bet this is more of an engine issue than console hardware issue.
all consoles have plus and minus about them.
obvioulsy the 360 has DVD9, which for current games is getting a bit... small
Blu-ray while having larger storage also has a slower read speed (sorry guys a 2x bluray is slower than the DVD drive in the 360. and not just in spin rate, but even how fast it can read the data. tho a 4x would beat the DVD)
when both consoles have amazing looking games like Gears of War, Uncharted, even multiplat games like need for speed...
I'm not sure how seriously I will take this review. Their opening statements about the game series in general seemed pretty off when talking about how "dumb down" and "broken" halo games are.
sounded like the reviewer has more a problem with halo, than ODST.
why? they themselves gave the grading scale. they themself said we will award 20points to who ever does best. and things like 21/20 are important when you factor in things like Metacritic and how people see the game. while I go on content, this is just excuses for ps3 fanboys to dance around and troll, because magazines cant keep to their own rubric.

if you asked every 360 owner then yes you could find out how many people actually have it and then make a % from then. however Gameinformer only has a small sample size that they are trying to simulate what the full population would be like. so when gameinformer gets 1000 replys for instance and 600 of them are negative, its going to have an artifical inflation of the number of defective units compared to those who dont.

Sam fisher. we all have played these games and we all know Snake is not as good a shot as Sam. Sam also seems to have technology such as ziplines and repelling equipment. snake just has his body... a knife, and some cigs.
Snake is way cooler, but sam can out sneak and out shoot snake.
but thats the thing, we dont know any real % of how many systems were failing. 15% of the console over 4 years is a much diffrent number than say 50%.

using a online poll or in this case a magazine poll is hardly a trustworthy or accurate way to figure failure rates. for online and magazine polls for instance, if you have a problem you are more likely to respond than those who do not. thus killing any point of this article because he has no numbers to even really talk about.
that is a powerful thing that developers havent picked up on yet. but I wonder if whats stopping them is the dual shock... is it worth their money to port to the ps3, and not have dual shock support? or are they expected to find a control sheme that works well with dual shock as well for the console port.
point being standard controls on PC is M + kb. ps3 is DS3. I mean... could they release a M+kb only ps3 game?
Now I'm not the only one with this opinion... but I have yet to play a console RTS that uses the dual analog controllers and actually stands up and shows itself off. there have been a few "good considering its a console RTS" but nothing amazing... and if your computer is that slow its time to go get a new one for everyday use anyway. you could get a PC that runs all the RTS games for pretty cheap I bet.
