Dr. Mark is a smart guy, and glad to see he stayed away from actually talking about Kinect. He seems to be well trained in speaking.
but seriously, Kinect is mostly software, its how the cameras work. Kinect needs to look at 2 pictures, compare them, track your body, and judge its distance. thats a software thing, not a hardware thing.
I highly doubt Dr. Mark is sittind down with MS and taking a look at how Kinect runs at this point, and how much over head it...
doesnt mean hes sat down with the current version of Kinect along with its software (kinect is 90% software, and just a little hardware at this point) and knows how everything works with it, and how much over head it consumes on the 360.

didnt see original on their embedded link either. you actually have to go to youtube to get it to show up.
the sample they showed me looked fine, but i didnt see the other resolution listed. i saw 1080P as the max.
edit: on the youtube site itself watching it in original, i dont see a resolution/ compression problem. my computer HD4770 8gbs ram amd 2.5 quad chugs.
but its never just a straight conversion. Europeans have been complaining they "pay" more than americans. currency is much more complicated than just changing it over quickly.
so even when straight converted to dollars, we dont know the american price that i know of.
the casual is willing to throw around money as well. the core are not the ones buying pieces of plastic to make their wii-mote look like a gun. or make their wii-mote look like a bat.
so this whole notion that the casual wont throw down 150 for Kinect, i personally see, has no real grounds other than people finding one more thing to cry about. the media has had a love hate relationship with Kinect, for what ever reason.

the PSN has been getting better and better content wise. theres still more titles i do like on the XBLA but MS pushes the arcade more than sony pushes the PSN.
both have tons of quality titles, tho the PS3 really needs some shadow complex. =D best arcade game ever.
lets face it, games are the real winners.
with my PsWii60 + PC i get the best of everything, and get to play what I want. Not all gamers can afford to do this, but they just need to get the console to suite their needs.

and you cant play everything.
the boxing game you need 2 move controllers, not a navigation controller.
Sony has on multiple occasions shown 2 move controllers to play, not move + nav.

so to have everything you need to play you need at minimal the 99 dollar move bundle, and another move controller.
