i agree MS needs to give us a real idea what to expect. but i also have a sneaking suspision they are trying to hold out for E3. the past few years have been "meh" at best, MS has been pretty good about keeping secrets and they want to leave a huge impression. I just hope we see something that makes me go "yeah! thats what I want the future of gaming to be like"

sales dont matter in this sort of discussion. what you need is to be in the spot light. if you are able to stand out from your peers you are more likely to be noticed.
this spring is covered in AAA franchises that gamers are excited about, God of war, mario, splinter cell, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, etc, etc, etc.
those guys are all over the front pages, they are the games being talked about, thats where gamers attention is right now. so of course if you release a game...
the diffrence being, while those are some "big" titles, Things like red dead redeption, etc. do not consume the industry. look at the splash made by god of war and final fantasy. there was no room for red steel to get its name out. around lost planet 2 would have been easy to make a name. mario might have been an issue but once again only have 1 "epic" title to fight with for some of the spot light is better than all of the games that have launched this spring already.
so then they release it to other huge franchises? I would think they would be more willing to compete with 1 huge franchise rather than what.... 5 this spring?
what did they think would happen releasing so close to system seller all starts like god of war and final fantasy? if this game was out in like 2 or 3 months I would have the time and the money to consider it.

learn to read, i am only talking about a 3-d interface. which means fir instance a rubix cube. i should beable to turn the back just by reaching behind said cube and turning it. i should beable to twist the middle by moving my hand to the middle row, etc.
3-d gaming has already been shown before by many games.
3-d interfaces currently do not exist when you have a 2-d input device. ie a screen to tap.

yes, we can make it look 3-d. the DSi ware game already showed hwo well 3-d can work with face tracking.
however that has nothing to do with a 3-d interface. for a 3-d interface i would have to beable to "poke" a point in the air above the 3ds and it would know what I was "poking".
we can have 3-d graphics easily on the DSi and 3ds. having a basically holographic image we can poke (how else would you be able to know where you are pointing yourself...
