No, I actually know what he is trying to say. The graphics of Killzone 2 were extremely hyped, but it really wasn't as exceptional as some were making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, the overall effect is very nice, but not as good as it's hyped to be.
If you look at the actual textures and lighting engine it is good, but nothing amazing. The textures are actually kind of middle of the road--not the best, but not the worst. The lighting engine is pretty good...
I don't do anything special and my 360 has worked just fine for years.
I have never had a scratched disc either. I really think that PS3 fanboys have exaggerated to an extreme degree such problems.
In any case, the 360 S models run extremely cool and are very reliable.
As far as the disc issue, discs hold the data, that's it. Having more storage capacity means that you can fit more content on one disc, but it doesn't have any real bearin...

I don't feel like an idiot for buying either my 360 or PS3. I knew exactly what I was getting when I bought them. I happen to have a slight preference for my 360, but I also think the PS3 is a great console, so is the Wii. They all have their positives and negatives. It really comes down to an individual's needs and preferences.
Oh, I see what you were thinking when you wrote that part, but yeah it wasn't really clear to me either.
The N64 was the first time I ever experienced analogue control and it was a revelation.

The PS1 might have come out before the N64, but it didn't have any analogue sticks. It had a d-pad for directional control and that's it.

It's not a new logo for the 360, guys. This story has already been debunked.
It doesn't look that bad anyway. I like the current logo better, but some of you are really exaggerating how bad it supposedly looks. It's pretty decent, just not as good as the current logo.

Don't act like the PS2 didn't have hardware problems. It did. Myself and several of my friends had our PS2s die on us. Sony didn't even have the decency to fix them for free, even though it was a well documented problem that was affecting many people.
I'll never understand people like you who worship Sony and completely overlook anything negative, yet hypocritically hate MS for the same things or similar things Sony has done.

Power ranger shooter with average graphics? Try harder, troll!
Halo Reach has great graphics and has nothing to do with power rangers except in the minds of certain immature fanboys who thinks colorful armor makes the two properties "SOOO similar".
LBP's graphics are nice in an artistic sense, but they aren't even close to being as good as Halo Reach's on a technical level.
If you are not visually impressed by Halo Reach you need to get your eyes checked. It looks amazing and most of the previews I have read have said the same thing.
