The reason you 'think' you see bias in IGN (anti-PS3 bias) is because YOU are an idiot and a fanboy.
Most of the gaming community laughs at PS3 fanboys. Do you guys know how ignorant you often look? Do you not realize that nearly every single major gaming site or magazine has been called biased at some point by PS3 fanboys? Don't you realize how irrational that makes you guys look?

There is no switching about it. I am perfectly happy owning both consoles. They each do things better than the other. Sony puts out more exclusives for the PS3 and it is a great blu-ray player. The 360 is great for multiplatform games, online gaming and the occasional exclusive.
For those that only have the money for one console or whatever, hey that's cool too. Everybody has different needs and tastes. But I know exactly why I own both consoles and I am happy that ...

Yes, they are working on Doom 4. They haven't shown anything of it yet but they announced sometime back that it was in development. Supposedly it looks godly, even better than Rage.
You're right. Sony should just cancel Killzone 3, Resistance 3 and Socom 4 as well. Nobody wants to play any shooters any more. /s
I like a diversity of games, but if a shooter is good I am all for it. A good game is a good game. Rage looks amazing in terms of its visuals and its gameplay looks promising.
I played both demos and the 360 version is much better. It has a much more solid frame rate and doesn't tear the way the ps3 version does.
You know, even if there were absolutely zero exclusives next year on the 360 I wouldn't be freaking out the way some of you are.

Microsoft's biggest weakness is their small number of first party studios. If they would rectify that weakness they would be able to absolutely dominate Sony because they do almost everything else better in my opinion.
However, even though I would love to see Microsoft bolster their first party output I still very much enjoy owning my 360.

I kind of know where you are coming from, but I think you are exaggerating. Yes, the gameplay can sometimes feel a little repetitive. But if you like games for their atmosphere, characters, and narrative you will love this game. The gameplay isn't as deep as some games, but it is far from being bad.
Is it good? Heck yeah, it's one of the best games of the year. If you like games with a strong narrative and well developed characters, beautiful graphics, great platforming and an epic journey, you will like this game.
That's not the first time they have underestimated 360 sales and overestimated ps3 sales, yet the ps3 kids still want to go on pretending that they undertrack the ps3 more than the 360.
Stupid. The 360 has over 800 games. I would hardly call that lacking in games. Next year looks sparse as far as exclusives on the 360, but then again the PS3 was sparse this year for my tastes. Only one game appealed to me all year: GOW3. I'll be busy with all the amazing multiplatform games (and a couple ps3 exclusives) coming next year to even care. Games like Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Batman Arkham City, ES5, Rage, Mass Effect 3.
Yep, I have both too and it is going to stay that way. The 360 is the best for multiplats and for exclusives like Halo, Alan Wake and Gears of War. The ps3 is great for exclusives like Uncharted, Killzone and God of War, and also plays my blu-ray movies. I wouldn't give up either of them.
That's why most of you act like such douches. You bought one console and CAN'T live with it. You always have to convince each other that you made the right choice.

Having better graphics in the vast majority of multiplatform games and also having some excellent looking exclusives of its own I'd say the 360 is showing it pretty damn well.
Just because many ps3 fanboys claim nothing can touch "ps3 exclusives" doesn't make it so. It's a bunch of nonsense. Most ps3 exclusives are nothing special in the graphics department.

Oh if only that were true. The sad reality is that ps3 fanboys are the first to talk up sales as soon as they are in sony's favor. Last gen was no different. The ps2 fanboys were mad with sales lust and constantly rubbed it in everybody else's faces. The only reason ps3 fanboys pretend not to care about sales now is because the ps3 is in last place.
