Huh? I thought the graphics were a little better in Enslaved. The character models are equally good, but the environments are better in Enslaved.
We are definitely getting some amazing multiplatform games this fall.
Yep, that Castlevania review was a disgrace.
Oh I agree that Castlevania will be the better game (for my tastes), but I think Enslaved looks very good as well. They come out the same day, but somehow I am going to find a way to get them both.
SilentNegotiator you are ridiculous. You hate on nearly every multiplat. Such a crybaby. It's like you think only PS3 exclusives can be good.
Enslaved looks awesome. I enjoyed the demo, but I can tell from the videos that the full game is much better than the impression the demo gives you. I love games with rich narratives.
Heavy Rain? Really? Alan Wake looks better than Heavy Rain.
Gears of War 3 looks better than Uncharted 2. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
If we don't consider everything that a game engine is doing then you aren't really comparing anything worthwhile.
You could develop a game on the Wii that is a single room with no action going on and make it look better than any game on the PS3 or 360. This is why you have to consider everything the game engine is doing.
Geometry, AI, scale, textures, lighting, etc. are all important aspects to consider.
Halo Reach looks pretty much as goo...
LittleBigPlanet? Give me a break. That game is relatively simplistic. There are MANY multiplatform games that are doing more in terms of graphics than LBP. You PS3 fanboys are so ignorant it's not even worth trying to talk with you.
Halo Reach does some things better and Killzone 2 does some things better. I honestly don't know how anybody can seriously act like Killzone 2 blows Halo Reach away on a technical level. It doesn't.
Halo Reach ...
Each game has quite a distict graphical approach. I own both games and I can honestly say that they both look equally good.
All the fanboys saying Killzone 2 destroys Halo Reach are just silly, delusional fanboys. Even if you haven't played both games you can tell by the screenshots that the two games are essentially on par with one another.
It really does look great.
The campaign was repetitive? Give me a break, it sounds like you haven't even played the game. There is 4 times the gameplay variety in Halo Reach than in most shooters. Repetitive is the last word I would ever use to describe Halo Reach.
I have nothing against Microsoft more than any other big company.
It's a brilliant game and a day 1 buy for me.
I'm getting it for sure. It looks fantastic.
I agree, Halo Reach has surprised the hell out of me.
I honestly think it is one of the best looking games I have played on any console. The textures are amazing, the HDR lighting looks gorgeous, the anti-aliasing is good, the per-object motion blur looks great, the character models are probably the nicest I have seen in a console game, and the art direction is so imaginative and evocative.
You're a diehard PS3 fanboy, so of course you would say that. It's not like you would be honest anyway.
This is my perspective as well. Halo Reach and Uncharted 2 deserve the 10s they got, not because they are utterly flawless, but because the few negatives they have are essentially insignificant in terms of the overall experience they offer. They are among the best of the best.
That is what a 10 means to me. It doesn't mean a game is perfect. Nothing is perfect.
PS3 fanboys are pathetic. You just can't stand that Halo Reach is a success.
I guess we should question those 10s that Uncharted 2 received.
@game-ur
I agree with you. After playing the CLoS demo and watching all the gameplay videos I am certain that CLoS deserves a much higher score than those ignorant reviewers gave it.
Anyway, I am also looking forward to Enslaved. Not quite as much as Castlevania, but I definitely want it.
