It looks better than inFamous to me, but then again I thought inFamous had kind of mediocre graphics. It had tons of jaggies, textures were low res, the art style was uninspired, and it had lots of geometry pop-in...it just wasn't a pretty game to me.
Crackdown has nice clean look to it and the anti-aliasing, pop-in and draw distance will all be better than inFamous if the first game is any example of what to expect.
Bullsh*t! Most 360 fans I have seen do not have female avatars. You are just pulling crap out of your @ss.
The PS3 is a decent console, but if you guys are any indication, its fanbase is comprised of complete morons.
Wrong! 360 has a ton of games. More, in fact, than the PS3 does.
PS3 has fewer games overall and fewer good games. The 360 has 301 games that have a metacritic score of 75 or better (which is their cutoff for a good game), the PS3 on the other hand only has 207. That is a huge difference.
So true, my man. Mass Effect was one of the best games I ever played.
It's console exclusive, 'nough said.
The whole PC thing is just an excuse PS3 fanboys use to attack the 360 and make themselves feel better about the game not being on the PS3. It's obvious.
I think the technical issue thing has been latched onto by fanboys and way, way overexaggerated. There was some slowdown in 'places', but um.. that is pretty much true of a lot of games. (I saw similar kinds of slowdown in some parts of Killzone 2, for example). There was also a little texture pop-in here and there, but nothing too noticeable.
All in all, though, I thought it was a gorgeous game. The textures were awesome, the character models were nearly CGI-like, and the ef...
A lot of PS3 fans in here stealth trolling, so what else is new?
However, a few of them are leaving positive comments with no strings attached and that is appreciated.
Anyway, this is by far one of the games I am looking forward to most this year. The first one is a true gem of gaming and I have no doubt that Bioware have improved many things for the sequel. I can't wait.
Spin this, talltony. The gap was only 5 million when the PS3 launched, now it is around 7 million. So, the gap has actually WIDENED. Besides is it really so impressive to boast that the PS3 might eventually catch up to the Xbox 360 when last generation the PS2 lapped the Xbox several times over?
You silly little droid. I know that you called yourself cyborg, but with thinking skills like that I'm sorry to report that you have not achieved the level of cyborg yet, you are still just a simple droid that isn't capable of fully individual and autonomous behavior. You are stuck repeating the same old programming from Sony headquarters.
The 360 has better graphics on 95% of games released and you have the audacity to say that the 360 isn't keeping up with the PS3? I'd say i...
Yep, it's clear as day. Thanks for sharing those. Halo Reach is far more impressive graphically than Killzone 2.
Uncharted 2's graphics aren't even in the same league as Halo Reach's graphics. Luckily, the graphics will be slightly toned down during gameplay which will allow Uncharted 2 to be little bit closer to how amazing Halo Reach looks.
(*since you said something ridiculous I thought I would too)
So what? I own both consoles right now and you are full of crap. The PS3 currently has two games that look slightly better, while the 360 has literally hundreds that look better. So, it's more accurate to say the PS3 graphics are not quite up to par with 360 graphics than the other way around. Besides Halo Reach surpasses Killzone2 and Uncharted 2 anyway.
Lair and Motor Storm are not particularly impressive. The picture some of you try to paint is just so off the wall and far from the truth.
Here's how it really happened.
Gears of War came out a year after the 360 launched and was widely hailed as the pinnacle of console graphics. Uncharted came out a year later for the PS3 and was praised for its graphics, but it was not considered to be better looking than Gears of War. Another year later Gears of War 2 came out ...
You are completely deluded.
No, he is right. If these graphics hold up it *is* the best looking FPS. Which other FPS looks better? Not Modern Warfare 2. Not Killzone 2. Which? Even Gears of War and Uncharted don't have textures and lighting that good.
talltony, it's pretty obvious that you are a Halo hater so that is probably clouding your judgment. Of course it looks like Halo, it is a Halo game. However, the graphics are far better than previous Halos and most people agree that they are some of the best graphics in a game ever.
I know what you are trying to say with that but it doesn't really make a lot of sense if you think about it. The Wii also came out a year later but is much weaker than the 360 or the PS3. There is nothing that says that a console that comes out later will be more powerful than one that came out earlier. It is really determined by the architecture that the maker decides to put into the console. Lots of developers have told us that the two consoles are pretty close in power, but that the 36...
Not only does Reach look better than Killzone 2, but 95% of multiplatform games look better on the 360. Do you think that is just a coincidence or that it can all be written off to "bad porting"? Wake up!
If the PS3 really were more powerful don't you think at least one 3rd party developer would have been able to make an unquestionably better PS3 version of one of their multiplatform games? The Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 and it had absolutely no problem sh...
Yeah, and I guess the Ps3 was flexing its muscle with the crappy looking inFamous. Seriously, that game looked pretty piss poor.
Even Crackdown 1 looked better than inFamous, despite the fact it is an older game.
But yeah, this one looks pretty crappy and definitely not as good looking as the first one. Must be the new developers.
