It's sad the way some PS3 fanboys have been on a smear campaign against the 360 version of FFXIII.

If, as you guys claim, a big budget and high production values are what make a game AAA then by that definition Too Human and Lair were AAA games. Obviously that isn't the case.
To be considered AAA a game usually has to have high scores as well as have relatively high sales. THAT is a AAA game.
I agree that it is a kind of poorly defined term, but it definitely doesn't mean simply a game that has a big budget.
I'll wait for for the final copies to be analyzed before I jump to any conclusions. Something seems very fishy about this whole situation lately.
It's funny that Sony tried to screw over Nintendo, but Nintendo was able to get out of it at the last minute. Then Sony came into the market and took a lot of market share away from Nintendo. I just think it is interesting that Nintendo now came back and got revenge on Sony and took back all that market share.
I know, they act like so many people knew about Killswitch, but in reality that game was nothing, a mere blip on the map. It didn't influence crap. Not to mention, I played Killswitch and the cover system sucked and felt far more clunky. Oh and Killswitch didn't invent the cover system either.
What Epic did was totally refine the 3rd person cover system and make it enjoyable and easy to use. That is why it had such a big influence on so many other games.
I honestly don't see that many characters like that.
But anyway, what is wrong with a game having big war-hardened guys? Is it that you are a skinny nerd that feels hatred and jealousy towards strong guys like that? Personally, I think the characters fit the story and world perfectly.
Their is a certain type of mentality in some people that makes them want to hate on successful games.
But whatever, I have been playing games for 20 years and Halo and Gears of War are two awesome franchises that I really love.
Ok bathyj, by that standard virtually no games are innovative this generation. Name any game, say LittleBigPlanet, and I can show you that virtually every component of that game was found in some form in previous games.
Sometimes games leave their mark by refining earlier concepts and mixing them together in truly unique ways.

Yeah, this is a great direction for Splinter Cell. The graphics and gameplay both look outstanding.
Wow, the second video was awesome. The graphics are outstanding. One thing I noticed was how extremely detailed and realistic Sam's hair is when the camera was looking down on his head. Check it out at 0:48 in the video. That's some of the most realistically rendered hair I have seen in a video game.
But anyway, the whole game looks fantastic.
It looks a lot better than any PS3 game. Don't kid yourself.

I am truly impressed with the graphics in Alan Wake. It is definitely one of the best looking games around.
