Yeah i have to agree. This looks pretty bad compared to Gears. Gears 1 & 2 are still some of the best looking games on consoles.

The 360 has a more powerful GPU, better unified memory architecture, an extra 10 MB of super fast EDRAM, and the DVD drive has faster read and seek times than the Blu-ray drive in the PS3. The PS3 isn't more capable, it just has a larger storage medium which only impacts how much content can be on one disc. It has absolutely nothing to do with graphical performance or anything like that.
Gears 2 looks about as good as Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2. If you have an opinion that one looks better than the other, it is just that, an opinion. You can't completely prove which one looks better. Those screenshots prove that the graphics in the Halo Reach trailer were legit. Bungie told us that they were, but some people had to go on believing that the graphics wouldn't look that good. To tell the truth some of the screen shots look even better than that trailer.
