Your end of year shopping list is exactly the same as mine.....Saints Row 3 instead of MW3 unless it's better than expected is probably the only change....

Both UC3 & Gears betas have been well received by the majority of gamers and critics.....
No need to worry about numbers...They're both going to be good games!
Look on the bright side of TDM being incorporated into the game......Hopefully that eliminates the tools that currently play rush & conquest as if they were playing TDM......Ie: not even worrying at all about the objective.....
I for one am happy for the addition as it's great playing objective game types with like minded people who are playing them as they should be played.....
Still the most balanced FPS multiplayer around.... Bring on H4 (on the xbox 720) or whatever it's called...
Patience dude, E3 2012 release is my tip for announcement....This year was too soon in the development cycle.......
Bungie are one of the greatest develpoment studios of all time.....Not just for their games, their innovation with halo.....Theatre mode,forge, balanced multiplayer, best matchmaking, party system but also for their website, stat tracking, support of charities, weekly updates & their love for their fans....we gamers owe them a lot....

Maybe, although if MS come out with their new console (which they will at E3 2012 with halo 4), then sony will be forced into bringing things forward.....
Sony are throwing new ip's & exclusives at the ps3 to get back the many millions they lost in the beginning of this gen... I commend them for that as it's good for us gamers. After Sony's E3 i don't think the ps4 will be out until at least 2013.
Sony have only recently made profit from the ps3 although i'm not sure if they've made back the huge initial losses....i doubt it...
I'm looking forward to next gen, but hope sony think things through and don't make a console which has / is been hard to develop for......like the ps3....

It is evident though, after E3 that the companies have different strategies for the future.......
i think MS are not announcing any new exclusives as they will send off the 360 with Halo 4 next year. Their new console will be announced next E3 in 2012.
They will want to beat sony to the market with their new system, as they did this gen.....Sony will foll...

I was like you & due to being PS aligned with the PS1 & PS2 neglected halo 1 & 2 when they were in their prime....I bought a 360 when i got sick of waiting for the PS3 & i'm glad i did.....
I used to bag Xboxes flat out & wouldn't listen when people went on about halo...
After i bought my 360 I bought halo 1 & 2. i wanted to play through them prior to 3 being released......What great games....I c...

I didn't play much halo 2, but played a heap of 3.......I had some great times playing 3 but i am one of the crew that likes reach.....People knock halo but this article shows how important & influential the early games were.....

Armor lock and inviz yes, sprint has added a positive to the gameplay. Jet pack is questionable but i think it's also a worthy option aside from sprint.
I hope they change the bloom before armor abilities...
