I agree that PS+ is good value but you're a fool if you think that the PSN network infrastructure / reliability is anywhere near that of Live....
I agree in part with everything you mention, but to not call sony out on their failures this gen seems a bit biased?
Also to discount the fact that MS did do a lot right this gen, is in my eyes, foolish.....
Xbox live is a more stable network with better infrastructure backing it....
That said PS+ is great value with games though....
I was excited when i read the title....and then i read the article.......This is just that you can start playing whilst the install / download is happening.....
Is anyone surprised that you can also do this with a digital game?

Just like this gen..... MS will be my mainly online console and the PS4 will be my mainly single player console....

Gee i like reading comments from fanboys where their preferred console manufacturer has never made any mistake and anything the other company does is nothing but a mistake.....
Both MS & Sony have done some great thing this gen and also made some mistakes.....aside from some exclusive games and PS+ free games, Sony has botched up this gen far more than MS......When all said and done MS took 50% of Sony's market share in one gen....D...

Firstly i'm no MS fanboy....I'm getting both systems next gen as i have this gen....
Firstly, On paper, does the PS4 have better performing hardware? Yes......Will it show? In first party games, yes, multiplats probably not much, if at all. If it does thats ok....
On the flip side of the coin......Will MS have better online infrastructure than Sony....yes...

Gaikai is different to Azure.....look it up....
MS have also just spent 700 million on a data center in Iowa and also have more planned for Australia etc...
That 1 data center cost twice as much as Sony bought Gaikai for....
This makes me think that MS have Sony covered in regards to online infrastructure...

PS2 sold around 150 million, Xbox Original around 20 million....
360 and PS3 have sold around 80 million each.....
