Yeah it can be done. MS have a good vision for the future but should've allowed more flexibility like an opt in style always online where you then get access to family sharing, cloud access from any XB1 and other benefits....The other option would be as it is currently where the trade off is the above mentioned features....Biggest mistake was 24hr checkin.....
If consumers were given the choice, this would've encouraged more people to try it first which is far differe...
I'm holding off on pre ordering until after release....I'll eventually get both but am still undecided as to which one i'll get first and when....
Sessler's video below sums it up pretty well...If you haven't watched it take a look...

I thought it was absolutely amazing.....Levine is a genius...
This is the game that makes me want an XB1......My fav game from E3 this year......I have total faith that respawn are crafting an amazing experience.....
Whilst i agree with all the points mentioned, the changes MS have made today have certainly made the system more appealing?
As with this gen, if you play multiplayer games such as COD you're probably better sticking with MS...(PS plus is great value though) - Titan Fall, Halo, Gears, First access to COD DLC + Destiny and BF4 etc and IMO better online infrastructure....
Sony is where i enjoy single player experiences and they certainly have some great excl...
Still not rushing at Next Gen until after release.....but, it has certainly spiked my interest in XB1....
I will get both eventually but might get the XB1 first as the games coming in the first year look better currently IMO....The most exciting thing personally about XB1 is the promise of dedicated servers and a generally better online gaming experience....
Sony has got some big games that will be announced in the next year though...Uncharted 4, God of War, ...
Just speaking about the price difference in Aust. Xbox One is $599 and PS4 is $549?....The PS4 is an extra $50.......where as $499 vs $399 in the US....
Yeah good point mate!!! It is a great place to live...
It's made the console far more appealing even though i game online....DRM and online checks didn't sound good at all...
The best feature for me with XBox one is the upgrade in online infrastructure....
Couple that with Titan Fall alone and i now want "One"
My main issue with the PS3 was the controller being small and the triggers.....Sony have done an amazing job with the new DS4.....
Sucks in Australia that the gap is only $50....
Great comment mate. Good time to be a gamer regardless which company you prefer.
As i mentioned, it is unfortunate but inevitable due to technology. Steam, Uplay, Origin, XB live and PSN are certainly pushing digital games and the market will increase further and further over the coming years.....
It would be nice if the older games would last forever like in previous generations, but it will end this gen i suspect...i've still got my old consoles right back to the master system and NES...
Nothing like nostalgia but i just know whats ...
I'm siding with Sony more than MS next gen but this story (Mainly headline) is utter crap.... The next gen hasn't even started yet and gaming media are running stories about Xbox one games and whether they will be available ten years from now?
Are you serious.......who will really care about a game from 2013 in 2023? People must understand that with the move to more online centric gaming across PC, PS and Xbox that games will have an expiry date....It's unfortunat...
@Eldyraen
Firstly, great comment with some solid points.....
I'm always connected currently but will be moving around November and i'm not guaranteed a connection when i first move in as the area has more demand for internet than it can cope with currently!!!
It's hard to be positive at the present time with MS but i can see where they are going and think you are correct in them heading down the same path as steam. In 2 years i...
The ps4 is only $50 cheaper in Australia than Xbox one!!! Why???
I've got a 360, PS3 and a good gaming PC currently....which makes me not want to jump straight into next gen until the systems are out for a few months.
I'll wait a bit to see what comes of the promises both are making at the moment....(Also MS and their policies too).
What i like from MS...
1. 300,000 servers for Xbox Live / Cloud.
2. Surprisingly good range of Exclusives announced at E3.
Forza 5 at launch, Titanfall ...
Interesting article...... going to be very interesting to see how MS respond post Sony's press conference....
Actually a good article and the war isnt over yet...I commend Sony for no DRM but read this morning that publishers still can impose it on the PS4??? Can anyone clarify this?
Sucks in Australia though.... Only $50 difference between systems..... $549 PS4 and $599 XB1....
I think MS will value add and not reduce price....Doesn't make sense to piss off early adopters in the first 3 months of next gen (any more than they have)?
