Totally agree with the resident evil comments....i went out and bought one after i watched the game being played....still one of my all time favourite games......

Sony announcing first, new controller and also some better online capabilities is basically proof of their errors this gen and their willingness to address them.

It may not be true but seems to make a whole lot more sense than some of the crap on N4G...it will apparently be a tool (within the systems) for the developers / publishers to use if they choose to which would block their games from being sold on to another person after purchase.

Totally agree ^^^ Sony has done well with the PS4 announcement though and they certainly want to try to regain the market share that they lost this gen..... I hope MS come out swinging and exceed expectations.

You then realise that each platform has it's strengths.... Xbox live has been the premier online service since introduction and sony has had to throw everything like PS+ (which is good) at it to try and compete.....sony having cross game chat with PS4 will really help as it's been the main advantage for live....

Kudos to Sony for being first, changing the controller, focusing on better online and making the system easier to develop for...Admitting their faults from this gen and also addressing them for the next gen is great to see Sony....good job...

MS have easily won this generation if you look at the market share they have taken from Sony........
i can only hope that people don't just state "i'm getting a PS4 day 1" without considering other possibilities?
i used to be a PS fanboy until this gen....i have a 360, PS3 and a gaming PC.
PC is certainly where it's at currently......Microsoft have certainly won this (console) gen IMO and the playstation whilst being a decent system has certainly had to play catch up with things after launching so late in the piece....

For the PS3 trolls (i have both systems so no fanboy) MS has 47% of the current gen console market.....sony has lost around 50% of it's market share this gen......
Although sony has had some great exclusives, they have also failed in a lot of ways this gen.......
Totally agree with this comment ^^^ ......Halo multiplayer is on another level than most, if not all other FPS games (BF is great too though)......it takes time to learn and it's a hard game to master.......most haters are usually people that prefer COD (which is fine)
the fact is, for me at least, the biggest difference between sony and MS is that MS has halo and gears which obliterate the likes of resistance, killzone etc......Halo is the most balanced FPS on console ...
