Splinter Cell FTW! Wow I was not going to get Splinter Cell but those pics changed my mind. Go Ubi!

Yes jack, but god of war is a niche market as well. Only difference is that Final Fantasy has a way bigger name and has been around for much longer than god of war. You also have to think of the Wii users as well. They might be buying a console just to play Final Fantasy considering that Final Fantasy has had more titles on Nintendo than any other platform.

Like the ps3 being 4d. Dual HDMI, 6 USB ports, oh and router functionality. Natal has yet to be released so until it does and you have one in your hands, you cannot judge it, yet. Besides every company over-hypes their products including your beloved sony. It is called . . . marketing!

It is funny how people scream first party when LAST gen it was completely backwards. ps2 dominated with third party and Xbox had to create new IP's and had a stellar First Party line-up. Look at where it got MS? They came in at a very distant second place. If it weren't for the fluke of the Wii, X360 would have been first place following sony's business strategy in the first place.

Either which way companies like Capcom and Square-Enix will pledge full support for the MS b...

Around July last year I bought my Lenovo Ideadpad Y530, I later upgraded the 533 DDR2 ram to pc6400 DDR2 ram and upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate x64. If it weren't for the fact that I travel for work, I would never need a laptop. I don't care how fancy of CPU/GPU you have in a laptop, they can never compare to full blown desktop parts. If you game, then a laptop is surely not what you are going after. Sure a 2200 dollar laptop can play the latest games, but not the same way a desktop can. ...

I can see n4g getting shutdown because of promoting piracy. It has happened to several sites and this site is no exception.

My "Special Xbox".

I am suprised no one chose an M-Xbox. I have a 500 GB HDD with clear case and lights up the wazoo. I also have the disc drive off so I can see the disc spin. Full-fledged Media Center with a library of over 300 Xbox games, over half of them hacked. I also run every homebrew games including PC games (older ones of course). I emulate virtually every console shy of the ps2/DC/GC. I even emulate Virtual Boy and Wonderswan and TI and Colecovision a...

I really hope Mistwalker nabs some of these talents. Now when I look at Lost Odyssey I can see the age but when it first came out, wow. Still is one of the best jrpgs of this generation. With all of these developers switching more to combat oriented, (shooters, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Mass Effect Trilogy) it is nice to have the traditional turn-based jrpg action.

I could see Intel going after Nvidia. Makes sense for them as nvidia cannot keep temps down on laptop components as well as Intel can. Then they could better battle AMD/ATI.

What is funny is that Bioware is a Canadian company. So that would be "North America".
I dunno, they need to make jrps more appealing to the masses like shooters. I've said it before and I'll say it again, people don't want to invest a lot of time for little to no progress. That is why shooters are really popular and wrpg's are as well. Extremely story driven instead of exp based. Unless you can exp with friends, solo-ing exp is just a big pain in the neck.

PC Gaming has always been there and will always be there. What they need to do is have some kind of unification like Games for Windows Live or Steam to really manage the way PC Gaming goes. That be said for hardware to. Every PC distributor needs to really get in touch with makers and suppliers to distribute PSU, CPU, GPU. The memory usually runs slower but it is doable as many distributors supply 2-3 gb or higher. I do like my X360 but see myself gravitating more towards my PC.

Ubisoft has always leaned more towards MS. This should come to no suprise. For them it is easier and more cost effective to develop for PC, Wii, X360 and make the most amount of money with the least amount of costs. Anyway whatever the case may be, that means a lot more PC/X360 Exclusives. Besides I see Natal as and addition to the controller. Sneaky MS, have a motion tech different from the rest so you can "safely" secure exclusive games. Sneaky indeed!

It could be a "Lunar" game. I think they have the publishing rights to that one. That could be big. I know the past Lunar games were pretty stellar. Except for Dragon Song. Who wants to lose life when running?

Hey he's not the only one talking bs and not delivering.

ps3=4d
Router capabilities with 3 gigabit ethernet
6 usb 2.0 ports
dual hdmi

Same thing with Fable, Fable 2 and Milo (of course we haven't seen a finished product yet).

Now I am talking about developers promising stuff and not following through. Now if you personally think that a game is not what it should be, that is your opinion as others will have different ones.

I can't believe that people think that the rsx in the ps3 is next gen. It's not even current gen. The rsx is pretty much a stripped down version of a nVidia GeForce 7800gtx with only 256 MB of VRAM. Not even unified shaders, not even DX10 capable let alone DX11. Does not support tesselation or nothing. I know my system is aging but it would still rock the pants off of both the X360 and ps3. I have no intention nor will I ever buy a ps3. Big waste of money.

I don't know why all the hate. sony fans ridiculed MS for the short-lived Xbox and praised sony on the long term ps2. If the ps2 wasn't doing well I am sure that sony would have pulled the plug. It just makes sense. You cannot lose that much money and still remain in business or have to answer to the shareholders. The economy won't pick back up til 2015 so who knows.

He never said anything about discontinuing the series. He is doing what Microsoft is doing, letting other talented developers work on the IP where you can focus on other things. Seriously, if they released Final Fantasy every five years, maybe three and that was done internally, meaning you have to pay everything (development costs, labor, utilities, rent, etc) it gets kind of expensive. Sure FF13 may have sold 2 mil first week in japan (where it sells the most) but if the game costs 100 m...

He doesn't say that the ps4 will still use discs. He just says future upcoming blockbusters. Besides just because a game is like 25-50 gb on a blu ray disc, that is UNCOMPRESSED data. With proper compression you can get 7 to 12 gb. Now with Internet peaking at 54 MBS, that game would not take that long to download. The only problem is for the rich kid that can afford to buy a lot of games, there should be a way you can have multiple hdd's to store multiple games on, ie. if you fill one 250gb ...

I think that people are dismissing the whole you don't need a controller anymore for hard-core games with Natal. I think at least in the beginning that Natal will be an enhanced extra to the controller. Meaning that you will use Natal as an accessory to the controller. (Cover, flank, throw grenade, etc. You can have more options in games for more control.)
