I am not trying to start any bs or anything and I am saying this without malice but all of those first party studios are quite expensive to keep open. If you are not making any money or little there of, how long can you afford to keep their doors open?

I agree with Westinghouse being crap. It often goes into an "eternal sleep" mode. Also Samsung is a very good brand. They have some of the highest quality and competitive prices. Just because a bravia costs 300-1000 dollars more does not mean it is better. You are paying for the name. Personally I would get something as good or better and skip the name and the extra grand tag and buy a better graphics card, etc.
Not only memory but the slow read of bluray also adds to madatory installs. Also the fact that the cell processor is a SINGLE core processor also adds hindrance as most pc games are coded for minimum dual core and many of the newer games are pushing for triple and quad cores. While I do agree to some extent with foilage comment on faster ram equals better. In an mmo more ram is better. Look at wow. System requirements are 800 mhz processor, 32 MB GRAPHICS CARD, and 512 mb of SYSTEM RAM. Graphics memory doesn't count for much in an mmo. Thus yes the ps3 system ram is faster, it is not more. I really hope that Kinect is an "option" in hard core games. Who wants to have a killzone 3 8 hour marathon using move? That would be pretty tiresome. Just the same. I can't speak for the others but I don't like 3d anyform because I would hate to wear glasses all the time and too much of that and I will get serious migraines. Now if they come out with 3d without glasses, cool, regardless of company.
How many games has Bungie released since their split has been exclusive? Halo 3 ODST, Marathon XBLA, Halo Reach. The contract is for one IP. It is better to let a talented studio like Bungie to let them go on peaceful terms rather than still hold on to them with an Iron Fist. Even with dlc as they can charge royalties as well as trying to keep the bluray momentum as long as they can. sony has always been about disc, discman, umd, bluray, minidisc, etc. So it would make sense for them to try and hold onto this format (disc physical based).

I received a free ps3 launch date 60 gb model, yeah pretty much the holy grail of the ps3s and I bought hdmi and a dualshock3 controller. I set up my psnid, which is grillstation3 and I downloaded pshome and went to look for all the free downloads on psn.

Development time costs, etc. I guess that is why sony lossed money while MS had a revenues of over 13 billion in just the fiscal quarter alone. Yet MS are the bad strategist. True but there is one gem in the mix and that is Lost Odyssey. I loved that game. A true love/hate game as one moment I wanted to/have thrown the controller against the wall and the other I got very sad. Of course I'm going to say that I didn't cry but there might have been a few tears eked out on some of those dream sequences.
