Well mostly for cosmetics. I never use more than 3.5 gb of ram, maybe up to 5 gb when gaming. Just to not see any gaps in my case. Yeah I know the 965 is my bottleneck but at the time the hexacore amd was not a good one with no turbo mode like intel's. Now the bulldozer is coming out soon so I will just upgrade to that.
Yeah your right. You do need a decent cpu but not a high level one. That is why most of the games are stating a 2 ghz p4 cpu and a 6600gt for video. But yeah having both is awesome.

You have a decent processor but a good video card and it will give you better performance and the ability to play the game than a uber processor and "integrated" graphics. I agree with the above poster that stated those games are relevant to them. Sure that is a good list, but not any of those are even blockbuster titles. If you take ALL the PC games converted to X360 like Draconis and a bunch of others, PC/X360 would have a bunch of exclusives as well. I personally liked Draconis but it is not a blockbuster AAA game. The thing sony needs to do to better help move is to differentiate it from Wii. Right now they played the safe card and mimicked the fading Wii. PC uses more physx. Consoles use Havok. Besides nVidia gave ATI support for physx.
I don't know if it will work with such limited ram on consoles. I guess though that I can sleep sound knowing that I will be able to play it on my 16 gb DDR3 RAM. . .
