How do you think you are so righteous in condemning someone who never had piracy on their minds? So you want to condemn Nobel for creating dynamite to be as a tool but people use it for nefarious means? Is that Nobel's fault? How about a kitchen knife? Used as a tool and as a weapon but whoever created it be condemned? You are so backwards.
I like how everyone ASSUMES that the whole reason why people hack systems is to pirate games. Maybe some people are pissed because sony took out features? Maybe some want to use homebrew. Not all people pirate games. Besides, if they put a game on their hdd and do not distribute it, maybe to test the game out before buying it, what is the harm in that? If a game is really worthy of your hard-earned money, then you will buy it. I bought Halo Reach Legendary Edition, RE4 Gold, Castlevania...
My vote for Bayonetta 2.
I think the biggest reason why people are so "hurt" is that the ps3 stood as the symbol of unhackable and now that their trophy has been cracked, FULLY, they don't want to admit defeat. They should be proud that their system took 4 years to crack. Of course you have to take into consideration that it is all done with software which makes it worse and that initially it cost 600 bucks so not everyone is going out to potentially waste 600 bucks...
I don't know why you are so afraid of modding your system. I will still buy the games that are worthy of my money and the rest are "to think of it as a long-term rental". Think netflix. I never sell anything so how exactly is that going to hurt the developers if you were never going to buy the game anyway? Just think that it could be good for the dev to have a game that you wouldn't normally buy but you tried it out and liked the game. Maybe that one wouldn't sell b...
I need to upgrade my cpu but I am waiting for the nexgen amd chips to come out as I have a socket am3 board. As for the comment above, if you are wanting perfection and the greatest library of games, (emulation as well) don't deny yourself the gaming rig experience.
Agreed. Phantom Dust was an awesome game. Still haven't beaten it yet though. I kind of want a new generation though. This one is good but could be better and the PC is getting held back and that isn't fair to gamers. So much power in the new PC parts and not using a fraction of its potential. Shame. I have 16 GB of ram and only use 5.5 gb MAX and that is compression/decompression.
Although Stranger's Wrath looks great even on Xbox still.
I like how people think MOST people bought a ps3 for games! What a joke. Let's not take into account of the air force which uses them for number crunching or the millions who bought it solely for a bluray player. By marketing it as a bluray player, sony shot themselves in the foot because now better bluray players on the market are cheaper and the exisitng people buying it as a bluray player will buy a cheaper, simpler alternative. They should have catered to the gaming masses who hel...
Apple shares back in the 90's were worth less than toilet paper. Now they are high. Remember when apple were about bankrupt who bought 150 million dollars of special apple stock? That's right. Your's truly Microsoft.
Yes but you have to realize that if sony wasn't greedy with blu-ray, they would have dominated this gen. Instead it takes them to almost this gen over before they get their second breath. By that time the next gen will start. You really think that if people knew about sony axing features that original adapters would have bought the ps3? Do you think if rrod was known before that people would buy Xbox? I don't think so. The next gen is almost upon us. If MS were smart, they woul...
Cmon lets get Conker in there. You can't get more gory/vulgar than Conker. Suprised no one mentioned that one. . .
Kinect games cost as much as wii games. I picked up kinect sports for 50.
You can bet that the entire X360 library will be backwards compat. Why wouldn't it? That is the reason why nvidia lost the contract and ATI won because MS wanted to own the architecture and just have a designer.

Everyone Paul Allen owns Charter. So Microsoft could techinally do this.
Could happen as a certain Microsoft co-founder owns the second biggest cable company, Charter. I could see it happening as they already provide phone, tv and cable. Imagine paying a one price for Live, digital phone, internet and tv. All MS needs to do is control the heating issues with the stupid ATI graphics card because I for one leave my tv on a lot.
I haven't played all of them but Metro 2033, Conviction, Castlevania, Arcania 4 and Divinity 2 were awesome.
You have hit the nail on the head. How else are they not going to charge for ESPN and other services, lastfm, etc. I just recently received a survey on games coming out and all of them were free to play mmos. I told them that taking a character from a single player experience to an online world would be cool but not online only. Unfortunately, the internet keeps growing exponentially everyday and this is where it is going. I do like Live but I am not too sure that I will further pay MS f...
I mean I like the Xbox but sheesh, MS is taking a very dangerous road, not securing Bioware/Pandemic and BC but securing Lionhead? Lionhead is a good one but Bioware would have made them more money. MS does need to wake up and not rely on that Kudo pos. He is ruining MGS and all his fancy bs on Kinect will kill them. Illusions of Grandeur not based on reality, such a shame. If you are reading this Microsoft, reason why a game console does well is because you have a bunch of games for it....
For the above post on US dropping atomic bombs on japan. They were about to surrender. We dropped them to test them out. Of course they were military facilities as you would never nuke civilians.
Then if that is the case, how about we ban the Eagle or the American Flag as we had our own "concentration camps" out in Nevada where we round up commies and japanese and forced them to labor. Maybe we didn't mass genocide but the US is FAR from perfect. I say th...
How does everyone think that people pirate pc games just to have a free game? Most people cannot get a decent enough review of a game with just a demo as a lot of demos are buggy and unfinished. What about downloading a game that normally you would never play, but it turns out that you really like it so you go out and buy it. Maybe you don't buy it but when the next iteration comes out, or another game by the same developer comes out, you will buy that one. So instead of a few piratin...
