Troll much?
I'd have to disagree with that when it seems other countries complain more about Americans than we do about anything or anyone else.
There's a misconception about this. The gun laws here vary from state to state.
See http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS...
Although I agree that we do need stricter gun laws, I believe that it wouldn't make that much of a difference. People that want a gun to do harm would only get one illegally.
This is what happens any time something bad happens. The media and politicians...
I could easily notice the difference. Odd that some of you can't.
@Honeal2g: You must not read many comments on the site then. And there's no need to insult somebody just for stating the obvious.
Since when was Halo ever about graphics? The graphical difference between Halo 2 and 3 is much broader than the difference between Halo 1 and 2. Halo 3 looks leaps and bounds better than Halo 2. At a noob's glance, you won't be able to tell this. I played the crap out of the first two. 3 has way more detail than 2. As many people have said, Halo has its own graphical style. Why change it? It's not aiming to look like Gears of War or Crysis. If all you people care about is graphics, you should...
@r1000: Who cares? You don't have to play them. There's plenty of other genres for you to indulge in. I noticed you have to comment on any news about a FPS just to spew your opinion. Why bother? Just because you don't like the genre doesn't mean it's garbage. The FPS genre has made leaps and bounds over the years. You obviously haven't played FEAR or STALKER. And have you know that it's the FPS genre, the genre you hate so much, that's pushed hardware to where it is now. That's right, all the...
Cry more?
Gameplay and story, two of the most important elements in a game. That's what Halo has.
You're obviously a Sony fanboy, so just give it up. You won't win in the presence of Halo fans. It's like one person said: you either get it or you don't. You obviously don't, so leave it at that. Why stir the pot with your biased opinion? Truth is, practically every game that comes out takes ideas from other games. To argue this as if Halo is the only one shows how dumb you are.
I too disagree. When Halo was released, I HATED it. I thought it was a rip-off of other FPS games, like Doom. Fighting aliens was nothing new, but MC's suit looked like it was taken straight out of Doom. Then one day, my friend brought his Xbox over along with Halo and he, my brother and I played it. I had a blast. One thing led to another and I had groups of friends coming over to play along with more Xbox's, and we'd play 8 on 8 all night. Not only was it a blast playing it with linked Xbox...
He's in it for the money, not to save lives. He's become rich off this subject. He calls video games the one common denominator in school shootings. It's more like "his" common denominator, because he makes money off of it. When it comes down to it, he's still a lawyer. Hopefully not for long.
It hasn't died, but has rather become less popular. The shock value isn't there anymore. When MK1 hit arcades, it was revolutionary. The level of violence and the amazing digitized graphics for its time were something people hadn't seen before. There were other games that used digitized graphics, like Pit-Fighter, but they didn't share the same level of success. The MK community is very much alive. It's just not as big as it used to be. I think one of the reasons for that is because the fans ...
That's like saying just let Street Fighter die. Boon has the right idea. The original fans of MK1 aren't 12 anymore. The hop to 3D was a rough one: MK4 was terrible, Deadly Alliance was both a step forward and backwards; Deception was a big improvement, but they took another step back with Armageddon.
They created so many characters--many having their own trademark fatalities--yet they send them off with Armageddon and totally drop the ball as far as fatalities go. Disappointin...
How is this relevant? I'm willing to bet $1.16 that you don't even invest in the stock market, so this doesn't even apply to you. It's just more psycho babble designed to kick up more dust. Do you really think defending Sony will change anyone's opinion? Same for you Microsoft and Nintendo fans. What's so hard about enjoying what you have without putting down others for what they have? And finally, how can you call others fangirls when you sit there and defend Sony to the death? How does that...
@dantesparda: Are you capable of saying anything remotely intelligent? After reading your post twice, my conclusion is no.
As for this article, I hate the fact that this whole site has become a haven for fanboys and their pointless news submissions such as this, simply to rile up others. It's the same ol' crap, time and time again.
That comment is unnecessary. Comments like that only spark fanboy wars. It's getting old.
How exactly did your prediction come true just by some head-case whining about Nintendo? That made no sense. I take it you didn't even read the article because you have the attention span of a gold fish.
What's with all you graphics boys saying how Halo 3 looks like crap? Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but since when did graphics make a game? Like Halo's ever been about graphics. Halo 2's graphics wasn't a huge leap from 1, but did that stop it from doing well? It's the gameplay and plot that matters. Anyone who hasn't played the original Halo with a group of friends over some linked Xbox's wouldn't understand. 'Nuff said. That alone made me go from a Halo hater to a Halo lover.

Hehe. No offense to you or anyone, of course. I just find it amusing when people say that. We all have our interests and means of passing time. I try not to criticize people for what they love doing. Though that guy that surpassed a gamer score of 100,000 truly has too much time on his hands. :D
I think Europe just has a hard-on for America. I don't see other countries going out of their way to insult America on the internet nearly as much as the Europeans do. Try finding some Japanese folks that write the kind of garbage Euros say about us... and they actually have every right to hate us. YouTube is a good example. Now I know not all Europeans are morons, but the same applies to Americans and anyone else. You see how retarded our government can be on a global scale, but you don't kn...
