As if viruses, worms, spam, etc. aren't bad enough now. Imagine if those kinds of people had access to the source code.
It does look good. I was a big fan of Nascar Thunder, so I'm glad to see Nascar coming to next-gen finally.
For the two that disagreed with me, I'll explain it to you.
Sony Corp, as well as 8 other companies (Matsushita, Sharp, Thomson, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, LG Electronics, Hitachi), founded the Blu-ray Disc Association, and it's lead by Sony.
Disagree with that all you like and even remove one of my bubbles as it seems one of you did, but it's a fact.
This is all merely opinion based. Doom doesn't belong there in my opinion. The games have seen countless ports and Doom 3 wasn't all that bad. I very much enjoyed it. I think people were just expecting way too much. Everyone compares a new FPS to Half-Life now. It's kind of hard not to do, but it shouldn't be done. I tend to compare new console FPS games to Halo as far as fun factor is concerned, but I know I should try to keep an open mind. People will always have mixed opinions about someth...
Wow, let's cry more over one person's opinion. THAT'S pathetic. It also helps generate these fanboy wars.
Actually, Blu-ray does = Sony. Do your research.
It's amusing when a fanboy attempts to insult someone by calling them a fanboy.
Fanboy.
I think it will. Keep in mind that GTA's popularity sky-rocketed once it made the leap to 3D. The last 3 games were very successful, and all 3 used the same engine. I think this new engine will breathe new life into the franchise.
The graphics could've been better in Forza 2, but they're far from bad, and when you play it for a while the gameplay becomes addicting. The cars really are the star of the game, as many reviews have said. The physics are excellent. You can FEEL the road. I've played the ever living crap out of the GT series, but I have to admit that Forza has taken console racing sim gameplay to the next level. If GT can exceed that, then Forza 2 is in trouble. Graphics won't do it alone. Personally, I love ...
"Halo's track record has been impeccable up to this point, but its first outting on the PC comes off as a little more than a ploy to get users to upgrade to Vista."
First outting on the PC? Uhh, he IS aware that Halo 1 came out for PC, right? If he was referring to Halo 2, then he should have said "Halo 2's track record."
And I really hate that guy's voice.
The single player is fun, but the multiplayer is lacking. I love the environments in this game, and it does give you a sense of being in the West. What I'd love to see is a Western RPG in the style of Oblivion.
Great, they ruined my favorite character and made her look like some cheap whore. Her breasts are WAY too big in my opinion.
The same can be said about Sony Cheerleaders. Any time positive news is posted in PS3's favor, all you Sony drones talk trash. It's like you guys are searching for anything to justify spending $600 on a console. I have nothing against PS3 itself, but you fanboys (360 and PS3) need to give it a rest. It should be about the games, not the console.
Notice how all the Sony Cheerleaders have 1-2 bubbles and nothing intelligent to say.
In the end, both Xbots and Sony Cheerleaders will be playing the game. Who really cares who gets what for downloadable content? I sure don't. I'm sure both will get something the other won't, so there's no sense in bashing each other.
And why are you so hard up on uncompressed audio? Do you actually waste disc space on FLAC over MP3s because you really believe you hear much of a difference? It's like the 30fps VS 60fps argument. Most people can't tell the difference. More space...
I feel sorry for fanboys that bash other fanboys. Get off your podium.
Because it hardly worked.
I've played with a few PMS members, including Athena and Athena Twin, back in my Halo 2 days, and they're kind of snobby. Guys, including myself, try to treat them with respect and show them that not all guys are morons, yet they talk to us like we're trying to get into their pants over an effin' game. :P
The ones I've played with definitely live up to their clan name.
Gameplay over gore, yes, but violence just happens to be part of some of the best games ever created. You mention Resident Evil 4 as if its gameplay was bad, when it fact it was a breath of fresh air to the franchise and received several reviews highly praising its gameplay. And the original Manhunt was original as well. Definitely not everybody's cup of tea, but original nonetheless.
