Late bloomer? I have to disagree. MK has always made its own rules. Not only did it have the first hidden character in a fighting game, but it invented the juggle combo as well (you're welcome Virtua Fighter and Tekken). I'll be the first to admit that the game play in past MK games -- with the exception of UMK3 -- has never been all that great, but that's not why most people play it. It's the story, the characters and how it's all presented. This is the best MK yet. Now t...
I clicked on this thinking it would lead to an article, and this is all we get? A censored video with a note from the contributor telling us as much? If you did your research, as it seems many contributors here on N4G fail to do, you'd know that the uncensored version will be released this Friday (as previously stated by another).
FYI: This isn't news.
Even though I'm still enjoying this generation of consoles, I'm anxious to see what the next has to offer. Not pointing fingers, but it'll be interesting to see if anyone has learned from their mistakes.
Don't think. Know. ;) Been following this game very closely since it was announced. MK fanboyism aside, I haven't enjoyed an MK game since Deception, nor have I been this excited or seen this much excitement for an MK game from fans and non-fans alike since MKII. It's been a long road of sub-par 3D incarnations, but it's finally back!
Seeing that I got a response and 4 disagrees, I must have hit the mark spot on.
Just a tip: Your sexual preference is about as interesting as an unboxing video. Nobody cares about what you'd like to do to a chick. Only the three types I mentioned above speak this way.
Dart89 has a point. People that make such comments are either a) virgins, b) boys yet to become men, and/or c) know nothing about how to treat a woman.
It's called greed. If I were developing a new CoD, I'd add/change/update the following:
- The animations would get a serious upgrade; not only would characters move more realistically, but the kill cams would look unbelievable.
- I'd implement a new physics engine. Imagine blasting a dude with a shotgun through a glass window. Now imagine that in a kill cam. How awesome would that look in a kill cam with rag doll physics?
- I woul...
The cake is a lie.
What are you snorting? CoD4's story was AMAZING. They haven't been able to top it since, hence MW2's Hollywood approach -- which was a bit much, I'll agree with you there. Black Ops' wasn't too bad, but still not as epic as CoD4's.
Gotta love how Der_Kommandant spent his two bubbles on trolling. What a tool.
I'd rather see Fulgore, if anything at all.
I can't believe how incredibly dumb some people are on the internet. It's not the hackers pulling these pizza prank stunts. If you had read the article, the person states they have no hacking skills. They're just someone wanting to be a part of something, therefore jumping on the bandwagon, much like those who flock to the internet's asshole, aka 4Chan.
And nobody on N4G has any room to talk about these individuals whatsoever, least of all you fanboys. That...
After watching the video twice, I'd say GT5 has the better in-car lighting, while Shift 2 has the better track lighting (shadows and such), as well as better hand model animations and in-car sound effects (debatable). The car also seems a bit stiffer on GT5 (also debatable, as it might be a trick of the camera on Shift 2's part, and suspensions can be adjusted).
First off, like Larry L said above, the costumes are unlockable within the game already. The retailer exclusives are just a means of unlocking one of them right off the bat. As for the DLC characters, there's only been 2 confirmed (the "Lady in Red" and Kenshi; Kintaro is false) and they aren't on the disc already. NRS promises none of that nonsense.
Secondly, you're complaining about having to purchase DLC when this game already has a TON of content. Wo...
I'm sure the fighters that are chained up in the background of Kahn's Arena are randomly generated like those on The Pit. Kira was one of those kombatants in early footage. In other footage, an unknown female could be seen that people are calling the "Lady in Red", because she has yet to be identified. It's quite possible she is Scarlet/Skarlett/Skarlet - however you want to spell her name - who was a rumored character in MK2.
If you think this is bad, you should read some of the posts on the various MK forums. I'm embarrassed to be a fan sometimes.
On a side note, the OP should have included *SPOILERS* in the title, as Cyber Sub-Zero is an unlockable character. Not only is he spreading around false information, but spoilers as well. Terrible article.
Um, no. None of these characters would flow well at all. Especially Pyramid Head, as he's really slow. Do the people that come up with this trash actually think this stuff through?
Even Kratos is pushing it; while definitely violent enough for an MK game, his moves are better suited for SoulCalibur.
People shouldn't get the new MK for its fatalities, either. It's time to break that mentality. Based on the demo, the game play will stand on its own for once. The fatalities are just a bonus. I see a lot of people complaining about the fatalities or characters, and I don't understand why. Has anyone been watching those Fatality Friday videos on GameTrailers? If not, do it. MK1 and 2 had some of the best fatalities, while the later games had less than stellar ones. The fatalities ...
And apparently I need to research my spelling before submitting my comments.
*foul. :P
Call him out for what exactly? He posted something about this on his wall recently, but he specifically used the word VIEWS, not people. Not once did he claim it was people. It's a cool song nevertheless, regardless of how many people have actually viewed it.
