The fact that it still has the automatic combat is the big turn off for me. I'm gonna wait a while for this one I think.
I wasn't expecting much at all but after finally getting around to playing the demo I'm pretty much blown away. The golf is like playing Tiger Woods with the Move without the annoying emphasis on character stats. The tennis felt like a much improved version of the table tennis from the first game and the skiing, oh the skiing. I would've bought the skiing alone as a downloadable title. Thanks for the info folks. I probably will pick up the first game too at some point. It's not like I'm anti-PS1 or anything, I was gaming before that era. It's just that I wanted some genuine creepy scares for Halloween night and the first game might seem a bit too primitive to provide that. I probably will pick it up between 2 and 3 though.

I was planning on buying the Silent hill HD collection to play through for Halloween (never played the original versions and playing on a ps3 so the issues probably won't be too off putting after the patch) but it turns out I'd been mistaking the original ps1 Silent hill on the eu store for the collection. I never played that either but i dont want to go THAT old school right now.

Anyone in Europe who hasn't picked up Beyond good and evil HD yet HAS TO do so now. It was pretty unforgivable to not buy it for the full price but at that price you should have your console taken away for refusing to buy it.
My plan is to buy the first true next gen console released, which will most likely be the Xbox 720 (or whatever its called) then move on to the Playstation 4 whenever Sony release it. Of course this could all change, maybe Microsoft have let their hardcore gaming slip on the 360 because they're really concentrating on being the kings of the hardcore game next gen, in which case I'll stick with the Xbox. This wasn't even close to my radar but it looks fantastic. I'd seen the name and just assumed it had been remade as a dumb FPS. Damn, two weeks ago I doubted I'd have more than one good game to play until 2013, now I'm overloaded.

Ugh, seriously? I said that the graphics were my "only real complaint". I'm loving the game so far, If I only cared about graphics I'd have said the game sucks because the graphics are bad. As it is I said that the distractingly muddy textures are my only complaint about a game I'm really enjoying. I didn't enjoy the game much myself at first since I spent hours trying to get out of that prison without killing anybody, which I was far too drunk to do and which just made me frustrated. Datura looks interesting and unique but I still haven't got around to playing it. This looks like it has the technical polish Datura lacked but it looks irritating and cheesy. I'll only be picking it up if it turns out you play as the guy stalking and terrorising these irritating brats.
Possibly my game of the year and easily my worst experience as a consumer ever.
I wasn't sure if they'd manage to pull it off but after playing the demo I have to say it looks like they did. That was way more fun than I had expected. I also noticed a few pop culture references in there too. Not too many, only about 8 or 9 thousand in the whole ten minute demo.
Wow, cool. I love Total recall. I loved it when I was a kid and it still holds up today. Such a brilliant imaginative movie, it was campy and cheesy but took so many chances and was really quite out there. Probably Arnie's best role outside of the Terminator. I'd get the blu-ray without the demo but it's a great bonus for a great movie. Wait.... What's thi....Colin....Who?? What? NOOOOOOooooooo.

I'm just not getting all that excited by this one but the Naval combat looks ridiculously awesometastic. I kinda wish they'd kept that to flesh out a little more for a full Naval/Pirate game.
