Obviously they need to do this if they want to be like Valve but as far as being themselves go I'm really liking their point and click games. Sure they have one thing they do but it's one thing that completely sets them apart from everyone else out there right now and fulfills a much needed niche in the gaming world.

Don't get me wrong, I hope everyone not involved solely in the creative areas of this company gets fired and then beaten up and struck by lightning as t...

They've got the whole refusing to release the next part of an episodic series on time and ignoring customer's questions down. It's a start.

You should've seen the pic before they photoshopped out the horns and the tail.

I like the fact that the Xena game let you play as Noel Fielding. Or at least that's what I'm guessing from that pic.

Anyone who thinks this is the first RPG you can fap to clearly has never been through Little lamplight with the child killer mod on.

Damn she's sexy as hell, the one in the foreground isn't bad either.

Nice, I can't wait to see what deals they have for the twenty fifth anniversary of the Walking dead. Hopefully they'll have released every episode by then.

.....Not sure if intentional.

You could be the best writer ever to sit behind a keyboard but that doesn't change the fact that your title is a ridiculous sensationalist attempt at grabbing hits. One might think a journalist who was so upset about the public's tendency to concentrate on sensationalist headlines rather than reading the article would actually refuse to be part of the problem and instead allow their articles to speak for themselves.

It's just common journalistic decency to title you...

Fantastic. The rise of these artistic PSN games is comparable to the rise of the more personal, genre busting low budget film making of the 70's and are the main thing that's going to get games respected as a valid artistic medium.

Great article and amazing game. My father had a temper and most likely suffered from clinical depression which would lead to some ridiculous mood swings that came out of absolutely nowhere but he wasn't an alcoholic and I was never really physically abused by the guy aside from the occasional slap after doing something that probably deserved one. Still though this game hit me on that same deep level, I found the ending devastating and I'd put it easily in second place for my game of ...

Bigfoot approves them?

The ghost of Kurt Cobain approves them?

The planet Jupiter drawn on the back of an old school textbook approves them?

See, the question marks make those all valid answers even though I'm basically just pulling things out of my ass.

'Star power' gets us actors hired for movies based upon how impressive their name will look on the poster rather than how well they fit the role. Star power gets us big glossy award ceremony lip syncing 'performances' . Star power gets us the Kardashians. Keep star power away from gaming please.

This is dangerously close to the old Horse armor add on, at least in my eyes. I have to admit I've recently been getting a little worried about Bethesda, not due to the whole PS3 Dawnguard business (I probably wasn't going to buy it anyway) but as beautiful as Skyrim's environments were there was a noticeable drop off in the quality of characters and the depth of each quest (even compared to Oblivion).

Fallout 3 remains one of my favourite games of all time, I had sp...

@Autodidactdystopia, I doubt it's quite as scripted as you're thinking. Scripting to the degree of getting that enemy's foot to catch on fire would mean you'd be unable to shoot him until he was standing right next to the fire, and that you'd have to automatically have the ammo to shoot him.

My guess (as someone who knows nothing about game design) is that the enemies have preset patrols and a number of scripted reactions to being attacked at different points...

I would've liked to have been with you but I'm weak. Don't give in anyway, next time you get that little nagging voice telling you just to check out a minute or two just to make sure it looks good and you're not just hyping yourself up for nothing trust me, it looks good and you're not just hyping yourself up for nothing. In fact if I told you how good it looks I'd be making it even harder for you not to watch so I won't.

Ps. Nice name if it's ...

Same here, I pretty much just zoned out there. When it finished I came down like, 'oh...oh yeah, that was just a short walkthrough'. I can't imagine how immersive it must be to actually play.

Wait... Still no Walking dead episode 3?? This is a joke, right?

It's a shame but this kind of thing really was inevitable. Whether it was the game or the gamer, something was gonna get pulled off.

I was never a huge DMC fan anyway so I'm not outraged but I have to say I wasn't impressed. Some of the environmental design is cool, with the upside down cityscape and all but that's more than cancelled out by the character design which makes Dante look like a character from Twilight.

The worst thing is that it looks stiff, and sloooow which is the exact problem I had with their game Heavenly sword. In that game most attacks felt too short ranged and the entire comb...
