So you're saying Jesus is Han Solo and Muhammad was an Ewok?.....yeeeesh. I'm not saying I disagree but you've got some guts saying things like that. I'm pretty sure those are the exact remarks that got Rushdie in trouble.
She looks cool but it's a little annoying buying this game at release and having this character come out when I'm deep into the game with another character and a crew of co-op partners already. I hope these kinds of little add-ons are not going to be a replacement for the kinds of fully realised add-on packs we got for the first game.
but Summons, you already decided yesterday that this game was a 4 hour long rip-off of better games with a horrible art style, terrible controls and a boring story and that all the good reviews were clearly by reviewers who were paid off (meaning just about every review we've seen here from the biggest site to the lowliest blog got some payola...wow) and you're still watching streams of it.
Jesus, man. You don't even sound like a troll anymore. You sound like som...
It's still pretty bad in most cases but I don't think that's anything to do with the limitations of the medium, I just think it's due to people accepting cheesy cliched characters and plots from games (but of course the movie industry is probably about the same right now).
There are many games that use the medium to tell an interesting and moving story in only the way they can (the Half-life and Portal series' are usually my go to examples) but there are stil...
Maybe I'm getting a little too sci-fi here but wouldn't gloves be better? I could imagine a glove with joints that tensed up or at least small pads that vibrate when your in game hand comes into contact with an object. This looks cool though so maybe I'm just being nitpicky.
The big problem with these new control schemes is that they never include a decent way to move your character and so always wind up being used for shallow on rails games.
It's true that the industry is probably a little too slanted towards the big budget popcorn movie type of game, I usually feel very uncomfortable trying to show a friend the latest game I picked up only to have to sit through about fifteen minutes of story which is usually a little cheesy anyway just to get to the thing I wanted to show off. I do love a good story driven game though, I tend to crave a story heavy game after playing a lot of a Demons/Dark souls type of game (and vice versa...
I'm really anxious as to whether I want to play nonlethal or lethal (yup, i have no life). I always go through these games nonlethally just because that's more my style and what I'd try to do for real so it helps me get into the experience but after Deus ex HR I felt a little as if I'd cheated myself out of a lot of the game (of course you can go through the game multiple times but its never quite as fresh as the first time) by hiding and using darts rather than exploiting all...
If this story manages to gain the media attention many of these stories do I do not know if there will be Muslims rioting and killing in the streets but I know one thing. There will be many of them getting an 'oopsy' look on their faces and quietly excusing themselves to go remove the picture frames from their bathroom before anyone sees.
As a staunch vegetarian I must admit I kinda want to see PETA succeed in their quest... Just not for the reasons you might think. PETA actually seeks "total animal liberation". This means no pet dogs or cats. Not even so much as an ethical, caring dairy farm or sheep shorn for its wool. Animals given the same right and responsibility to decide their own destiny as any human being. I almost want to see that happen just so I can stand beside one of them as they see the absolute chaos ...
So they pulled the map? I assume it was out of respect and horror that their placing of a picture frame in a bathroom might have upset people, right? Totally not because they know that a great number of religious fanatics are willing to take the excuse to riot and murder because somebody who doesn't subscribe to their religion (and is fortunate enough to live in a country in which they don't legally have to pretend to subscribe to their religion on fear of death) said something they d...
We don't know that. The article simply says that there are reports of 'some gamers' finishing in under four hours and reports of others finishing in 6-7 hours. There are people out there who get their enjoyment out of seeing how fast they can get through a game as soon as they get it. I've never understood it but they do exist. Of course none of us know but I would put money on an average play through of this game not being 4 hours. With the reports of some people managing it ...
The first two results for Googling 'Bioshock speedrun hours' are somebody who managed it in just over an hour and a video of somebody finishing it in well under 3 hours.
The trouble is, with things like videogames the addiction is often more about what they're being used to avoid rather than what they actually do to the addict. I'm surrounded by cretins and bores for the majority of the waking day and forced to act in ways that feel uncomfortable and silly just to get by. My life would probably improve if I came home at night and sat down with a book about furthering oneself in the business world or took night classes in physics but honestly, being a...
Wasn't Zero able to upgrade to the ability to dash toward the enemy while swinging his sword almost like a shorter distance version of the Biotic charge from Mass effect? I remember that from pre-release gameplay videos. Did they remove it or has the substance abuse just finally ruined my memory?
Honestly the only flaw I can find with this game so far (as a co-op game with friends at least) is the fact that there's just always too much going on to take in the story. I miss most of the snappy dialogue and plot development because I'm taking the little time I have to arrange my inventory or pick an upgrade. Maybe this is partly due to the fact that I'm playing with other people but still you'll often get one piece of important dialogue cut off by another or just have so ...
She's got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a MAN'S tonsils.
Damn fine idea. emasculation quest and Peekaboo with guns are personal favourites, though the latter could be used for about 90% of games these games.
I'm afraid I have to agree with Mika. Disgusting, no love for PSN users. We play with ourselves too you know, even with the free online multiplayer and all.

Good to see this guy is finally being brought to justice. He's been doing this kind of thing since the 90's as this security cam footage clearly shows http://www.youtube.com/watc...
