Yes, yes but did he like it?? He doesn't say.
I think it's a good thing that they didn't go for the kind of light based stealth that lets you stand two feet in front of an enemy who's looking directly at you and not be seen because you're in the shade but removing shadow altogether as a factor in stealth just sounds crazy. I'm still holding out hope for this game but this news really doesn't help me do it.
I had hoped it'd work a bit more like the Fallout NV hardcore mode. Having a slowly decreasing food gauge and so on but having enough time to explore areas etc. it actually plays closer to Crazy taxi than anything else, it's always a hectic race to the next plant or animal to eat and you can't go exploring areas the game doesn't want you to when it doesn't want you to because there'll be absolutely nothing there. If you wander into an area you don't have any challe...
Wait, you're not a 13 year old Japanese girl? Why have I been PMing you naked pictures all this time?
First time I've ever watched something like this without first having to search for 'femdom POV humiliation'.
I'd never even heard of Tearaway before you mentioned it. After watching the trailer on YouTube I.... I don't know whether to thank you or be mad at you because now I have to buy a Vita.
She's cool, she added so much to the character of Alyx Vance. Even with the great character model (not based on her even though they look quite similar) and amazing writing it would've been easy to make Alyx seem a little too weak and girly or a little too rugged and rough in places. She managed to pull off the perfect mix. If you listen to her contributions to the HL2 commentary tracks it seems she really gets it too, she doesn't come across as an actor doing video game work pure...
I've never heard of Trials Evolution but I loved Inherit the wind, I'll check it out.
I wish the AC series would have just been historical and left out all of the modern day Sci-if stuff. I caught a little of the Davinci code on TV the other week and was genuinely embarrassed at having played AC. I already knew the themes were similar with the Templars etc but wow, they even took the art style for the kind of white wire frame ghosts and so on. I'd been too snooty to watch that movie and yet I'm unknowingly playing a game that rips it off. It's unnecessary too, that...
It's creative, I'll give you that but c'mon guys. These people are already playing Runescape, anything beyond that is just cruel and unusual punishment.
I consider Snake eater one of the best games ever made, sure it was a departure from the high tech base infiltration of the first two games but it managed to perfectly capture the kind of rough survival based stealth it was going for.
I can't be too rough on this guy though because I seem to be in the minority that hates MGS4. I mean hate. I hated the fact that most of the stealth consisted of crawling slowly across a wide open field or desert floor to avoid enemies who were...
I actually wish they had chosen this character for Assassin's creed 3. The bright white 'Hey look at me, I'm an Assassin' costume is starting to look a bit out of place. Even in renaissance Italy I had a hard time accepting that an Assassin would make himself that identifiable, in Civil war America the modified middle eastern Assassin costume looks downright silly. Plus she just looks like a cooler character.
All of his friends and family gather to pay tribute along with anyone who's anyone in the gaming world. He has a beautiful service and as the coffin is lowered into the ground a lone bagpiper plays this haunting refrain http://youtube.com/watch?v=...
Uncharted 2 was an amazing game. I just wish I didn't have to replay it over and over instead of playing the survival horror and RPGs I used to love.
A dev's reach should exceed it's grasp. Or what's a Vita for?
It does look sleeker but I can't agree that that's a good thing. Part of what made the first Dead space great was that Isaac was just a regular engineer wearing a clunky, restrictive spacesuit. The increase in agility is part of what brought down Dead space 2 for me. It's just not as scary when you feel you could run or dodge out of some creature's grapple. Now he looks like some kind of anime super soldier it just helps confirm my fears that this game will completely do away ...
The thing that summed up the entire demo to me (aside from the immensely hateable smug douche with the skinhead who's campaign I couldn't play more than a minute of) was during Leon's campaign where you're travelling through the dark offices and each room is strewn with corpses.
Knowing the dead were returning I aimed for the heads of every one of these corpses and fired but got no reaction, they were seemingly just part of the environment and the bullets jus...
There really... REALLY doesn't need to be a Mass effect 4. Of course there will but there really shouldn't be. It's story has been told. It's done. A game based around the same mechanics is fine but we need a new setting and story.
After the early 2013 line up of potentially spotlight stealing games we've got and the fact that we're at least gonna be hearing a lot about the next gen by that time I think a late 2013 release is gonna hurt them, at least as much as its possible to hurt the release of the next GTA game which admittedly isn't much. To be honest I'm just trying to rationalise the fact that I want it NOW.
Just replace the automatic combat. That's all I ask. Give me a reason to escape from the enemies rather than stopping and killing them all with ease.
