I'd like to see some comparison images for this one. Hope they'll do it for Mass Effect 3 as well.

"Thank for aproving guys. Don't listent to sonyboys. they are in denial now. I don't need hits. that is no advert on this blog."

And there goes any credibility he had. He doesn't even appear to know what GPGPU and Tesselation is lol.
Poor english as well.

I certainly agree with you on what you say, and strictly speaking you're also right in saying that it is illegal to run most ROMs on emulators. (Whilst emulators themselves are legal in every sense)

But then it's also, strictly speaking, illegal to record TV shows and movies that show on TV, or even to watch TV with your neighbour who doesn't have a TV License.

There's a grey area in copyright when it comes to age and value of products. When t...

I wasn't strictly speaking about the legality of it though, but more about morality. Is it still OK to pay for Pong? Even though there's still copyright on that, no-one in their right minds would still pay for it. Things lose their value over time, whether companies such as Nintendo want it or not.

Depends on the software.

It needs to satisfy a few rules before it can be deemed as OK to emulate.

1) You own the original
If that's satisfied, it's OK to emulate. Otherwise,

1) The game is no longer in production
2) The game is not a remake of one that isn't in production
3) The game has reached a certain age

Indeed, it's not OK to pirate a new game, but it is OK to emulate a 10 year old o...

Stupid article, making false assumptions and accusations to a man who tries to think outside the box.

A Downloadable Movie Tie-In. Seems like the right thing to do. Better development cycle, shorter game, and perhaps better quality. It looks ok based on the trailer. Better than Iron Man 2... lol.

Plenty of people still play it. I jump online on MW2 every now and then, don't have Black Ops, and don't want it.

Wouldn't you say buying the game new is a pain in the arse as well? Just don't lose the game lol. Besides, it's not unlikely that you can back up your savegames anyway.

@Perkel

"Fighting without strategy will give you nothing in this game. In later parts tactic is everything. Even most badass equipment is nothing if you fight this game without tactic. "
I know, that's why I'm disappointed that the game gave you so little time to be strategic.

"About FFX. Go play FFX and try to tell me that system is good. It is that slow. I have like 150h in it and i killed half of dark aeons. My tidus has ever...

This is, realistically, what gamers can look forward to when they think about next-gen.

The GPUs that we're using now are still current-gen, how hard is that to understand?

In addition to what Vermillion mentioned, it is also true that a consoles architecture is quite different from a PC, and it usually uses custom parts to gain more performance.

If new consoles release next year, they will use a new graphics card, probably running on an equivalent of PCI-Express 3.0 technology, with better design for processor and memory bandwidth. A console is also able to handle branching and multithreading in a better way than PC, due to their set-in-stone a...

That's nothing new... Up until at least Gameboy Advance, and I believe but cannot confirm that this is true for DS, DSi and 3DS, the save-games were stored on the card as well.

Besides, if you lose your game card, you can't play the game any more anyway...

Not quite the best - there wasn't enough freedom, and the speed of battles left you with too little time to be strategic. On top, I hated not being able to control the other characters, and dying if my leader died.

I felt FFX had a great battle system, and I liked its summons better as well. (Striving away from the Battle System) On top, FFX had loads of secret areas and weapons, none of which could be found in FFXIII. That was my personal biggest disappointment in FFXIII...

"Arnold Swarzenager" lol, might consider fixing that.

To the people claiming Sony 'bought' exclusive rights to this demo, that's rather unlikely.

What seems to be the case here is the combination of two things:
1. The developer seems to favor Playstation 3
2. It is likely that Sony offers discounts on, for example, royalty fees for a developer if they publish stuff exclusively on PS+. They earn it back through the subscription. Win-win.

Crytek lied, what else is new? :/ Not surprised by this.

5578d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

It looks better than either of those two games. Battlefield 3 has a visual quality which is only slightly lower than what I'd expect from a true next gen game. Impressive technology, very impressive.
