It's a 15+ game... Kids shouldn't be playing it..
Completely agree, and I completely see where he's coming from too.
Girls tend to be more casual gamers, guys tend to be more hardcore about it - it's a bit of a generalisation, but nowhere did he imply that all girls are bad at First Person Shooters.
If that wasn't the case, then I wonder where the comments "Guys should pay more attention to their girlfriends instead of playing games" come from.. lol.
Doesn't really give you anything else than bragging rights. To replicate this hardware, you need machine precision, so without a specialised hardware factory at your disposal, even if the devkit was real (which it probably isn't), the devkit would be completely useless (considering you need a contract with Microsoft to actually be able to digitally sign your game)
Consoles have custom specialised hardware, not off-the-shelf components. Dev-Kits also have specialised tools that allow development for consoles, which are not possible to use or license for a regular PC.
An E-Bay user with 0 feedback sells an unconfirmed Xbox 720 development kit for 20k.. Now I've seen everything <_<
Yeah, paying a fee to participate in a tournament is unheard of and completely unacceptable! Oh wait..
Ganzi,
Watch Dogs and Star Wars were both shown off with the intention of showing gameplay as well as technology. Agnis Philosophy was shown with the intention of introducing a new direction for Final Fantasy as well as showing new technology. The Unreal Engine 4 demo was shown with the sole purpose of showing off technology, which is why it may have seemed like the most boring one to you..
" It was running on a pc not available to the public."
Where did you pull that from?

No it isn't...
Whilst it is bad parenting, she never blamed the Xbox. She just won't allow the kid to play on it any more since he clearly can't handle it, which I think is a perfectly appropriate punishment.
Just because they all have a CPU, RAM and Graphics Card, and all of them use code, does _not_ make it the "same kind of hardware".
Blade Servers have a CPU, RAM and Graphics Card, Mobile Phones do as well. Curiosity also has a processor and RAM, and it may or may not have a Graphics Card, depending on how they handle imagery.
Differently built CPUs are able to to radically different things very well, and perform extremely poorly in comparison with ...
"PC games that i would love to try but my current PC just can't handle. "
The next Xbox would have the same problem 6 months down the line. (Probably even before that).
Microsoft is not opening Xbox for PC games regardless though, so it's really quite pointless to think about anyway..
Uncharted 3 suffered of the same problem as the Dark Knight Rises did - people's expectations were way out of proportion with what could feasibly be delivered.
Uncharted 3 as a game was still as good as Uncharted 2, just not as much better as some people expected.
I never said we have to ignore them, I said we have to stop emphasizing on them, as that's what's creating this gap between races, sexuality and genders.
The problem with emphasising is that it also causes people who aren't racist/sexist/etc by nature to be constantly aware of the differences between them and whomever they are talking to. This causes them to be more careful about what they are saying, and hence causes them to treat the minority groups differently,...
I think you kind of missed the point I was making.
The whole idea of there having to be separate, different events for people from a different ethnicity is what fosters racism. The idea that there have to be special events for people who are homosexual is what fosters low acceptance of homosexual people.
If you want everyone to be treated as equal, why are you treating blacks differently from whites?
Funny you should mention Black History Month.
"You're going to relegate my history to a month?" the 68-year-old actor says in an interview on CBS' "60 Minutes" to air Sunday (7 p.m. EST). "I don't want a black history month. Black history is American history."
Freeman notes there is no "white history month," and says the only way to get rid of racism is to "stop talking about it."
"So, will there be sexy almost naked muscle booth guys on next E3, just because you are speaking about "same fights"?"
I have no problem with that. In fact, I'd encourage it.
"Won't you be offended, looking at some guy hugging a half naked booth twink at the E3 for a photo?"
Why would that offend me? If some guy wants to hug with another guy in public, then let them.
"Or even just fr...
Thought Arkham City was the better game, having played them both back-to-back. Really enjoyed the variety that Catwoman introduced, and the contrast that the different villains offered.
The thing I was most let down with though was technical performance. As soon as I switch DirectX 11 features on, frame rates drop significantly, which signals a rather poor implementation of the features, considering graphically more advanced titles run perfectly fine with those same features...
His loss.
Bayonetta wasn't really the epitome of innovation either though, just saying ;).
So you'd let your 8 year old play Call of Duty? You'd let him watch violent movies?
Rating Systems are there as guidelines, based on how children process the things they see on a screen. Seeing violence influences them in a way that they become more violent, so to call parents who play Borderlands or Call of Duty with their kids 'good' parents is kind-of ignorant.
