Let's face it, they'll be plenty of PS4 games represented at Gamescom. They may not be showing (or 'talking' about) their own Sony developed exclusives but people aren't going to be walking away from Gamescom think XBox One is the only option. Microsoft making any new exclusive announcements will win over a few but if they just regurgitate the E3 showing, it's not going to matter...
Water on visor just stays on there? Looked good to start with, but as a bike rider, I know it moves across visor depending on speed and direction of wind and travel. Not to mention new spray forming off of the road and from the sky as appropriate.

I'm not convinced. Cancelling my order. May be wrong but getting feeling that free content may be 'shoes', 'clubs' and paraphernalia. Probably pay for courses via season pass or premium DLC. Suspicious. May be utterly wrong but not buying full price for short change on 'real' content...

It's all degrees of completeness and subjective. I know games are more complex and i know that they're harder to test. But games that don't need tweaking are few and far between these days. Seems some games get slaughtered and some get away with a drip of progressive updates.

Basically because i want to buy a finished product. I may as well have it from day one of development and hope that it turns out ok when they finally say '...we don't support this anymore' if what's released wasn't the intended target for the project. How early are planning on buying software in the future? May as well sell Betas for everything going forward.

Not being funny but if it's 'pretty good already', that implies that it's still being worked on...so released product isn't finished?
I'm all for patching in bug fixes that weren't uncovered in testing but tuning and development of a base product shouldn't be an ongoing cycle in my view...

Agree. Distributed processing and cloud are all well and good, and they will work for PS Now I've no doubt. BUT the infrastructure still can't handle it consistently and people won't trust it enough next gen. I wouldn't. You've only got to look at PSN and XB Live issues. I'm not buying a door stop i can't use when either mine or the providers internet connection is down, bottlenecked or just DDoS'ed because someone holds a grudge...
With the recent chatter, I hope there's a big release date announcement soon...
I fear for this. Unity rehashed with a beautiful London landscape, married to some new mechanics and objectives, that may be rushed ideas to prolong the game.

As above, while I like an announcement trailer for something, I don't expect the finished product to be identical - regardless of the comments made at the time. To me, an announcement is simply a case of "we're making this game" and I'll wait and see what the finished product is like before I buy it. I accept that a little graphical infidelity may be necessary to have better AI, customisation, effects, frame rate or story content. Glad I'm not alo...
Genuine question...how did it sell this year? Can't imagine it flew off of shelves. Is it like the Tour de France games? Minor tweaks and name changes but fans buy enough??
