I'm glad they delayed to finish the job. If they're satisfied it's more complete, I will be. Maybe not 100% still - but rather 97 than 92..!
Truth is...all this talk of re-reviewing shouldn't be necessary. Its a definite 7/8 out of 10 driving game out of the box single player and NEVER deserved the slating it got from some quarters. Yes -now multiplayer is up and running, add 1 or 2 to the score depending on your taste and an extra 1 for support, weather and patching. Annulized games aren't the issue (most aren't developed over a single year now anyway). General quality assurance and testing is the issue...that and the fact that the big companies don't make shareholders happy if they announce 6 month delays...
This gen consoles weren't intended to do mainstream 4K gaming. They're to suit the vast majority who want to game on their living room TV. Most (and NOT all, obviously) are happy to enjoy games in that way. Others dabble; hence the time, expense and effort spent by others providing you with your mods. Each to their own. Frankly - your PC is rubbish compared to others and I guarantee that it's 'beatable' in every way with larger budget, so let's not berate what people h...
And a monitor capable of 4K. And a cooling system to reliably overclock. And enough RAM to handle the game itself.
I game on PC and console...just enjoy the gaming. It's not a competition to play in the highest resolution with the highest frame rate.
Sad why all forums these days are full of people telling other people to spend their money on a better setup - and NOT about the games themselves.
I think they've stated that until their Ego engine has been satisfactorily updated to use new hardware, they're not releasing. Makes sense to me. They release half baked conversions and people will not be happy.
F1 is confirmed for next year and I'm sure there'll be other announcements too...
They're not even comparing the same place, time of day, situation, lighting, characters; apart from the close up and the ballroom. Don't know how anyone can really judge it. Maybe PC to console comparison but gameplay over pretty pretty graphics for me. Still look fine and still look head and shoulders over older generations of AC. I reserve judgement...
It's embarrassing, it's a schoolboy error for a company so prominent in the industry but not a liability. It's a great offline arcade racer, will be better online, has promising support plans and I have no regrets whatsoever.
Patience is a virtue I have in this case...not necessarily in others!

Inconsistent corner cutting penalties are winding me up a little. If the track's 'open' in an arcade game, don't penalise me for using it now and again! BUT agree with you entirely on the game - does cause a rush and further updates will make it even better hopefully..!
Not disappointing to me. Love the game. Shame about online and that people aren't getting to try the FREE version, but nevertheless, meets my expectations. As with GT5, also expect this will be content heavy in 6 months time, due to ongoing support. Personally, I thank Evolution for a game that plays so well, but please do more homework on the infrastructure next time and don't be pushed into releasing too early (yep - I know it was 'a year late' but that was to amend the game...
Recent DDOS attacks mean I'd rather have a chance for local play than be dependent on the internet. Roll on PS5, Xbox Two and Wii V...plus any others...

Is the £34.99 upgrade to PS Plus the equivalent of what stores are selling at £48-50? Or is there still more in the media version?
I finished the original and the remake's not for me. But plenty want to try it again, or even for the first time, so it's fine that it's out again as far as I'm concerned!
