Just 'Agree' with you...but DON'T...fl!pp!n touch screen phones. But each to their own - wouldn't have hit 'Disagree' either...
Agreed entirely. But someone disagrees with me and several agree with you!? LoL.
Enjoy whatever you can play whenever you can get it, I say! Doesn't have to be day 1 for everything, but if there's money for a game, isn't it nice to have a bigger choice at that time?
Ah well... :)
Don't move anything to December - just buy later in December or January with all that Christmas money... ;)
The keepers can't catch but do manage to get a limb in front of nearly all shots. The shooting model is fairly horrific. The computer controlled players try to dribble the length of the pitch all the time without passing. They also nearly always play a short pass at free or goal kicks. You can rarely get a player on the end of a long clearance.
Presentation is nice but gameplay is a step back in my view. Cancelling my pre-order too, will see what PES is like but resigned to a year...
I'm more interested in how it plays - and to be honest, it feels a step down from FIFA 14. Can see what they've tried to do, but don't think it works. Goalies are now too invincible and I struggle to get a player to the bounce of a clearance. CPU players hold the ball for way too long, taking on players when realistically they'd pass and the short passes at free kicks and goal kicks are not normal! It's nice presentation generally although taken out the selected highlights...
Which year?
(...sarcasm - and no...I've not read full article!)
The games are different racers and Sony get a cut from both anyway (although admittedly a bigger one from Driveclub). Promoting diversity is great. As it happens, I'm in for both anyway - unless one or both disappoint...
I don't want my dualshock to need charging, I want it to have more features and I want it to be a custom fit to my hands...
It's not bad, could be better but as with ANY design, there are compromises. I'm happy enough with it and charge on standby when not in use. I have run 6-8 hour sessions but kind of accept the battery warning as a reason to take a break!
Nope - I'm willing to be an early adopter for current gen. And whether games are available on last gen or not - more likely to buy on current gen. Obviously.
In that respect - I didn't buy for one game, I bought for all it offered and hope will offer.
So assuming you buy a next gen console in next two years, are you still going to buy last gen versions of games if released on both? Because everything I mentioned earlier isn't important? Come on...
So we should all neglect better graphic detail, textures, draw distance, smoother frame rate and higher resolution - and live in the past?
It's called progress and evolution.
That's not say there isn't fun to be had on previous gen - mine still gets used loads.
I disagree - but not bothered with 'Disagree'. You're welcome to YOUR opinion too!
Different type of game with different crossover audience...I don't care how the sales COMPARE.
Just as long as EACH game is considered 'successful' in it's own right (completely different factors to comparing against other types of game on other platforms) - and spawns a much better sequel or influences a new IP with improved gameplay...
I game on PC and console but why the constant comparison?
My calculator is so much better than my PC for calculating - I'd rather pick it up and use it to do some sums rather than boot my PC up for a division or multiplication. They do the same function.
My tablet is so much easier to use in ANY room in the house for browsing the internet than my PC. They do the same function.
No comparison. But I still use the PC for both the above if it's convenient....
As above -

Ummmm - Outrun..?
May be just me, I know - but I'm a little underwhelmed with it. Looks 'nice', 'smooth' but I was hoping for better on a PC platform. More incidental detail than the odd blur and leaf possibly. Damn the hype.
I'm sure it will be a fantastic game on all platforms (especially if IT does avoid micro transactions) but I'm interested to see the improvement in Forzas and GT's of this generation (in a year or so) and how they then shape up...
Are you saying that the early PS3's were garbage? I'm still on my original 60Gb - so I don't think there's any worries about the hardware necessarily. There may be major improvements in the manufacturing and over time, there will be improvement in components, but I don't think current release component parts are bottom grade garbage.
This kind of issue happened with the PS3 and 360 but I don't think anyone can say they were anything other than a success in thei...
Why do they need to run a test and fill it to get that figure - it tells you how much space is available (and how much is used!) from the Settings? Looked at a friends yesterday.
And a hard drive into a PC doesn't give you the full space relative to a purchased disk drive (what it says on the 'box' or 'bag' if OEM), regardless of O/S. It's not fan boyism to expect a certain loss of space - with more for an O/S too. I'm in multiple gaming camps but won't...
Not THAT bad for an open world game on current generation (assuming PS3/360 footage). Somewhere around Sleeping Dogs (which, looks wise, was already worse than the earlier GTA BUT had more 'content' to deal with). Unfair to compare against other game genres.
Problem is, all previous footage being PC has made everyone think Ubisoft can squeeze more out of 7 year old tech. Their marketing error and our hype belief has been somewhat dampened BUT (hard as it is) forget preconcepti...
S'all fair comment strifeblade. I've only got a PS3 but don't consider myself a fan boy. I saw "no backward compatibility" as a chance to abandon ship in the next gen. However, I have 7 friends all saying they're leaving MS world and, based on current build up (specs, E3, console focus), I'll be waiting for them!
Errrm...it is already??
