DLC with everything from Ubi and EA these days. Kinda makes me long for the days of old. I like a good DLC that extends a favourite game and offers value for money. I hate moneygrabbing crap...
I just want a defined season pass 2 like season pass 1 (tracks cars events) and I'm there...

I don't deny that...although it's on the Frostbite engine, so there's experience in it's workings, albeit on an older version. Undoubtedly, the engine will have benefited from the development too.

I can see it doing 10-15 million easily. Film tie in, spur of the moment purchase, christmas presents. I kinda enjoyed the beta...only reason I'm making a stand is that they are taking people for a ride with the content.
And I'm not against season passes - I love good new content for games that have held my interest. Just stupidly high priced ones where I don't think the original content is enough.
That said, it will sell by the barrow load; cross platform.
Well...I wont be one of them. Would've bought it for a 'knockaround' off of the back of the beta BUT I think that content HAS been held back for season pass. Just a gut feel that says I'm not getting a good enough deal with the main game. And there's a lot of competition at this time of the year - they can have my money instead..!
I'm a biker and think it's great. But hope they continue to add cars too. I would buy a similar type season pass with same support as this year...

Seriously - there's hundreds of thousands of fans out there and, despite the already dubious announcements, I sincerely hope that EA and Dice deliver a game worthy of their interest...and don't mess it further.
It's not for me but enjoy SW fans...
Just cancelled my preorder for the standard edition. Beta was fun for a few games but didn't grab me overly. The community will get divided by the premium extras. While thinking I'll wait for a GOTY version, agree with earlier comments that this will be kept at a high price for a fair while (EA and Disney steer). And in the meantime, other games will release that do demand attention, so realistically, I'll never play Battlefront anyway. Not feeling bad about that.

I guess it depends on your 'commercial' viewing. I saw far more TV adverts for Until Dawn (guessing 10 times) than I did for Uncharted (2 times). But I'm not a typical 'prime time' TV viewer (hate MOST of the garbage on Friday/Saturday/Sunday evening here in UK!!) which I guess is where the Uncharted target audience GENERALLY is (older children/adults seeking humorous 'blockbuster')?
However, I completed and enjoyed all Uncharteds on PS3 and not played Unt...
They are working flat out on other releases, no doubt. Thankfully the bluster with Rockstar tends to be at the end of the development lifecycle. We don't get 'target graphics' in videos 3 years before release. I prefer what Rockstar do. Patience...there's something coming...
Fair enough...just wondered what IS a big enough car selection these days. If 50 is too small, will 75 be OK? Or does it have to exceed 100? ;)
Appreciate this has 'customisation' so variants are possible, unlike Driveclub.

Didn't Driveclub release with around 50 and got panned for limited car choice compared to GT or Forza?
Don't get me wrong...I love Driveclub AND it's season pass (would happily pay for the same again this year - although a few more track locations would be better too)! Just wondered if this would get marked down for the same reasoning..!
