I also forgot to mention, that Diablo 3 was also mired in fan outrage before launch, due to it being online only on PC, not working at all, and having paid auction houses. It's considered one of the worst PC launches of all time. You guys act like Blizzard just shat on Diablo and its fans now, completely forgetting the last entry.
I remember that time when people waited twelve years for Diablo 3 and then it didn't even work at launch. I'd also argue 2 was better. I don't know why people are surprised lol. Doubtful, shareholders are probably loving it. They know it's going to bounce back, and when the stock drops, they can just buy more. This game is going to make bank and have probably millions of downloads within the first couple days. Even pissed off people will end up with morbid curiousity lol.

I loved Xenoblade 2, and have always been amazed at the artists that work at Monolith. It's a very Japanese game though, and if one doesn't really like anime, it won't be for them. The mobile market is just too lucrative. Companies have got to be asking themselves, why invest potentially hundreds of millions of dollars, when we could get away with much less, appeal to a MUCH larger market, who also historically spends more on MT?

Battlefront 2, you had a clear advantage over others in the game when you spent money. More damage, faster ships, etc. That was one of the worst cases of MT in a AAA game in history.

I wouldn't say it's impossible. Head of Xbox is open to it, and Snake, Sonic and Cloud are returning characters. If anything it would be very beneficial for Nintendo and Microsoft to have good relations with each other.
Well, they pretty much canceled the version that third party was working on and had to start all over. Gonna be another 10 year nightmare lol. It doesn't even seem possible with current gen consoles to recreate that game with modern demands. The story took dozens of hours before with basically complete linearity. Midgar alone could be an entire game now.
