I think they should have a trophy viewing mode similar to Smash Bros. Like the room where all your trophies are on the table with classic consoles on a shelf in the background. If you have PSVR you can get up close to them on a virtual table. With the camera you could snap a pic of your room for use. If you platinum a game you could unlock a room themed after Bloodborne, God of War, Uncharted, etc. and view your trophies there.
I don't get why people are so hardcore ab...
2019 at the earliest.
The only ones concerned with the PS5 at the moment are journalists looking for hits and people that think that the consoles make the games; so they think that a new expensive replacement is in order. It's always seen that the games make the console. Not the other way around.
Exactly.
The Souls series is renowned for being difficult. People download ridiculous games meant to fail, but to keep trying anyways, like Flappy Bird. Yet, playing an average difficulty game that needs a little practice is bad? This is what worries me about journalism.
Exactly what I said in the YT comments. The AI is still too point A to B. They should have better reaction to enemy officers and being attacked. I hope this game turns out great though. I used to love DW4 and DW5. Haven't liked any since. I feel the camera should be improved as well.

"even a few hundred thousand copies makes millions for these companies".
Makes millions? Just because money was pulled in from retail doesn't mean it has "made" millions. They still have to recuperate development costs, publishing cost, licensing/royalty costs, and advertisement budgets. Also, just because development was paid for doesn't mean they have no costs to pay. More than likely, the contract states that, ...
Sales determine if the game deserves another sequel, if MicroSoft makes enough profit to open more studios, and directly influences console sales to line up more content for their consumers. Sales are extremely important.
@TheScorpioh
So, how many consoles have you thrown in your closet or traded in when an upgrade comes out? A more powerful console comes with every new release. It's called electronics. It's not rocket science. When PS5 and the next XBox come out are you going to disregard the prior releases too? Quit running a fake hype train. It's just another console.
Disney now owns Star Wars and Marvel as well. They have distributed Studio Ghibli films as well. So, if they could manage a miracle crossover in a cell-shaded Ghibli world then that would be an amazing surprise.
I'm gonna throw out there ones I think could work but not be totally expected. Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Doctor Strange, James and The Giant Peach, Thor, Oz, and Narnia.
Why is PS4 tagged in this?
I want more to do with the power and responsibilities given. I was so happy to have building in F4. Really didn't know that until I played it. Hopefully we get better management capabilities in future Bethesda games. I want an Oblivion remake really bad. It would have been awesome if Oblivion had kingdom management when you finish the main storyline.
Have gaming journalists and news sources fallen out of love with reasonable and objective publications?
@Bigpappy
When it comes to a consumer platform that is serviced by developers. What needs to be built is a foundation of customers willing to pay.
It's like selling a car that requires proprietary fuel, and the manufacturer doesn't do much to supply it, meaning sales will be lower, meaning less attraction to the car in general to buy more fuel in total, meaning less businesses willing to supply said fuel. They need to stop finding excuses and get ...
I wish we had an online mode. Called something like "Blood Pact". Where we can have other hunters join, including an invite system, for a massive hunt. Not necessarily to be applied to the overall online system. Just this mode/minigame.
Perhaps they could allow a co-op invite system after a certain area or when beating the game. A fountain of blood where hunters had given blood for generations. After their blood is given, it gives a sort of connection, or insight,...

I said catching up to current gen *AS* newer generation hardware comes out. Several years of time for portable options to reach the same level. Don't misinterpret. I also said *eventually*. Not by next gen, which is just a few years away.
"Home console is not just standing still". Really? The *PS4* is getting performance enhancements over time? I understand what you mean. Obviously, they are planning for newer console iterations. ...

Yet, no one has said Sony is in the way. Except you. Sony has said they are willing to do it several times and it merely needs to be discussed and collaborated. No one has reported Sony getting in the way. Only MS has been reported doing this before.Yes, we know they recently changed their policy.
The real reason it's taking a while is that it's not simply about getting permission. They now have to work a system between both platforms for t...
I think that they should simply have an option in game settings to turn off cross-platform play with PC users. I would love to play Destiny 2 with my PS4 friends using my PC. I got into it when the Taken King limited edition PS4 released. But, I have a desktop for my main platform. I can understand multiplayer having issues, not because of hacking, but because of different control inputs with different strengths changing the tide of battle. However, during raids, strikes, co-op, etc. I see no...
I imagine that eventually portable hardware will catch up to current gen hardware as next gen units roll out. For example, when the PS5 comes out, a portable that can run PS4 games may be possible around the same time.
@sho0ok
If PSN or LIVE has a security breach, it won't effect the other service. I clearly explained this to you. Your account is a key to the game. Your account details are not given to the game developer, aside from what is on your profile. Your valuable info is only kept on the main service. If one service is hacked, then it won't affect the other security wise. And, unless both services actually merged together, no way in hell would either service hand your val...
@sho0ok
We aren't merging PSN, Live, and other services together. They are using their accounts to access unaffiliated servers.
"at the time". The PSN hack happened a few years prior to PS4's launch, and Sony has allowed many PC/PS4 cooperation since. Sony had a huge hacking incident back then. But, it's not generally easy to hack whatsoever. Live has had far more reports, even from MS executives, of accounts being stolen. Bare in mi...
PS1 and PS2. Sure. But, very few people would ever use it. Look at the stats for how many X1 users use it for 360 games. It's a ridiculously low percentage. PS3 would be impossible. It's been explained many times. PSNow is not meant to be a cashgrab where they intentionally avoided PS3 backwards compatibility. It just isn't possible on the totally different hardware that has to be multitudes more powerful to run code built around a totally different architecture. This is far more ...
