TLoU complaints were that people still wanted to play Joel, and the story they didn't want to accept. Not because of female hate. Returnal and Horzion have examples of modern day well written characters that just happen to be female. No focus on being different for sake of being different and no cringy writing to go with it.
I don't see "most" saying she's fine. You can't just say "most" this and that ya know. It actually needs to be real observation and not just an extension of what you believe.
I don't think it would make sense. Microsoft just wants exclusives to keep their console going and to push GamePass. The profit of these games on their console isn't anywhere close to how much more they make on PlayStation. That amount of lost sales and profit alone would be the argument to remain multiplatform but we already know they care more to have them as exclusives. Also, why would they give up an existing exclusive to keep an existing multiplatform financially independent fran...
@RaidenBlack
Every reveal, snippet, gameplay demo, everything, was met with huge adoration with Skyrim. It was never compared to other things. It just looked awesome. Bad comparison. Starfield's demo was a bit rough and not that interesting. A lot of it was about what the game has versus what was shown. The framerate drops raised concern over Bethesda games still using old engines, and the gameplay was just ehh. I see the potential but we also gotta step back and see it...

Sony is going around acquiring major devs and numerous chart topping IP's that have a stronglehold on their respective genres? That are already on all platforms and have no financial hardship? Sony is doing this? Who have they bought that is releasing major multiplatform games? Who have they bought just to remove the game from releasing on the competition? The only almost example is Bungie and they have a specific clause in the contract that they remain ind...
@Everyone defending the acquisition.
What do you guys not understand about constantly bringing up timed exclusives and third party exclusives? Both parties do this. Every console platform does this. Stop bringing up something that both do that is not to do with the actual topic of acquiring developers and the right and wrong with these acquisitions. Keep it straight to the point and look at the facts of the deal and how is this different from Sony. When Ninja Theory was bou...
Purchasing such large developers/publishers with intent to remove the games from the competition is the monopolistic practice as has been talked about and compared to their Zenimax/Bethesda purchase when they inferred how they did not aim to take games away from competitors before the acquisition and then specifically did that when it went through.
Would they? They bought Bungie but accepted a contract to keep Bungie games multiplatform. They weren't aiming to buy a big dev/publisher to remove games from competitors.
Common sense. There is no money to be made having GamePass on their own console. It's also extremely backwards to think it's Sony's fault for not accepting GamePass on their console. It's Microsoft's fault for making them GamePass exclusives and labelling the lack of GamePass as the reason for removing multiplatform games. Is GamePass on Steam? Nope. It's not. Are those originally multiplatform games on or coming to Steam? Yup. Don't fall for Microsoft's sneaky...

"You already admit the double standard"
What? What double standard? Sony and Microsoft have different standards. One is a consistent perrformer and the other one is consistently lacking and disappointing. Different standards.
Double standards means treating two equals different for the same thing. For instance, two employees are equally good at their job, equal attendance, and been at the company the same time. Both...
But, Sony still has a consistent release schedule every year for big AAA games and when they have delays we still have other exclusives to fall back on. A delay for Sony is totally different because they have other things available in the mean time. MS simply just has nothing and shows CGI trailers and super early trailers well before the game is under real development and goes years with next to nothing to play and when they finally come out they disappoint.
Yes. When it comes to Steam.
Intentions with Steam.
@Profchaos
Same. I want the form factor and general idea to stay the same. I just want the dock to include beefier hardware to allow smart apps coming from the dock even while the console is in handheld mode. While also doubling as bring back the wireless screen sharing feature of the Wii U. This would allow Wii U ports to be the same and bring back the usefulness and innovation of that feature.
Kinda goes to show they will do what they can to make the acquisition happen no matter the cost or waste of resources. Which isn't a good sign. And, a monopoly ruling should be decided on merit and past history. Not good feels and sudden willingness to push pro-consumer policies during the actual acquisition.
This acquisition is so much bigger than CoD and people don't seem to pay attention to that. CoD is just the biggest most consistent series. That's it.
If the replies read Ryan's words. He took the deal that MS had offered for the 3 years. But, he was expressing his opinion that it's still an inadequate deal and there should be more years. So, it's not Sony preventing any time extensions like they keep inferring
And I'm sure that since they had Sony devs working with them that they personally tested their version and approved it.
@Soulrakk
The PS3 sold millions more than 360 every year. 360 had a 16 month lead on their launch, sold super cheap(but barebones) bundles to raise sales, and had millions extra sales from those not wanting to wait on the lengthy warranty to get them another 360. The PS3 can't get slapped when it never lost. Only caught up when it didn't matter? What kind of goal post move is that? When 360 stopped production, PS3 was a million ahead. And, remember. Sony reported sa...
I was hoping the Cell could still have been in production and used as their auxiliary chip for background tasks, downloads, online features, etcetera. That way they could have it used for backwards compatibility but with the new GPU.
