Depends, is it a special fridge that is the only one which can hold my favorite foods?
Re: 5.3
Hmm...looking for the word "just"...nope, don't see it there.
Not saying you're wrong, but I'd rather withhold judgment on whether MS is "lying" until the full details are announced.
I'm not sure why people have so much trouble accepting the 360 will have additional content. Aren't even a dozen bonus missions better than none?
Re: 4.5
You know that "PS3 pre-orders outselling the 360" thing was a rumor about ONE store, right? I'd like to see solid proof of this from a reputable source, not a "rumor has it..."
Rockstar hasn't gone into any detail regarding the episodic content way or the other. We know it involves new missions, but those new missions could be on a new island, have new vehicles, etc.
They're never said it's "just" anything.
GTA5 isn't going to be Microsoft exclusive. Don't be absurd. Sony would pour dumptrucks of money directly onto Rockstar's lawn to avoid that.
Um...
Vice City is a good example of something that could've been DLC for GTA3. San Andreas? Not so much. That game was epic on scale. More like an Oblivion with Gangsters.
GTA4 isn't as big as San Andreas (though it may have more missions), so I highly doubt the DLC will be. Vice City sounds more reasonable to me. It'll be interesting to see if they add new areas with the 360 DLC or just new missions. The long wait between episodes sounds like more than...
Yay, you broke the record for Fastest RRoD Insult in a thread that has nothing to do with the RRoD.
Keep this crap *out* of the Gamer Zone. How does this comment reflect a "friendly and civilized discussion" about the exclusive GTA4 content?
Hooray, another article on N4G to discuss the RRoD issue.
How is this even news? Some guy went through a bunch of 360's. It sucks. Microsoft should be embarassed. It's a ridiculous, unacceptble situation.
But do we really need to post every story about every person with a blog whose 360 has died at some point?
They don't "keep buying it over and over". There's a *three year warranty* if you get a RRoD. You go a month without the system, and it sucks, but it's not like you have to buy the damn thing again.
Educate yourself before posting.
"Sony rules", says Sony in a statement today.
Why does anyone care what a company says about its own stuff? Of COURSE its going to hype it's own stuff.
Let me know when some third parties have something to say about it.
This is a pretty poor Top 5 list considering the big names coming out in 2008.
Ghostbusters? Sure, could be fun - could suck. I'll reserve judgment, but I'd hardly call it a Top 5 contender.
The AGENCY? Really? Okay...
Smash Brothers and GTA4 are fair choices.
Spore, I could go either way on. It's on *my* Top 5 list, for sure, but as a general Top 5 list I'd probably go (in no particular order):
GTA4
MGS4
Gears of War 2
...
I'm sorry, I didn't know EA released Call of Duty 4, or World of Weprintmoneynow.
Seriously, World of Warcraft has what, 10 million subscribers? At $15 a month? That's roughly $150,000,000 a *month* from WoW alone.
But, you know, Madden. And stuff.
The Wii is easy to make. Nintendo has been making the Gamecube for years, and the two systems are very similar.
My theory is that there was a 'gap' in 360 production once Microsoft stopped manufacturing the really-broken original 360 model and started manufacturing the only-somewhat-broken 360 model with a new heatsink.
That, and it seems they also overestimated the popularity of the Arcade model, since the only ones people can't find easily (in some places) ar...
If I really wanted this game, and it couldn't fit on a memory card, I'd *buy a hard drive.*
Or a bigger memory card. I doubt the game would be more than half a gig.
Also, why does MS have to live with it? They changed the limit once, they can change it again.
"Flamebait article posted on N4G to start fanboy war."
I always get a kick out of articles like "Sony employee says PS3 rules", but besides that, this article is fully of crappy misconceptions by Steinberg.
'Steinberg pointed to the section of the talk from Chris Satchell on the XNA platform, and explained: "it was interesting in the sense that what they were talking about we've sort of been doing for the last couple of years with PSN and giving smaller, start-up, entrepreneurial developers the chance to get in and m...
Eh, this sort of change didn't really seem worth a modification of the review score in the first place, so no surprise there.
"If you thought last week’s trailer for the fourth Indiana Jones film felt a little flat"
I didn't, sorry Gamesradar. But thanks for playing.
From the article:
"Was it because the aging Xbox 360 hardware just isn’t up to it? Well, no. Was it because the Cell processor offers such an incredible source of computational power that it allows the use of higher resolution textures than world has ever seen? Again, no. Is it just because the XBLA file size limit is holding it back? Yes. Bugger."
Silly Microsoft. Download limits are for kids.
Meh. I understand the reason for the downlo...
I wouldn't mind this at all. Maybe people will start thinking outside the box a bit more.
Take Mass Effect - technically an action RPG, but with more FPS/shooter elements than most. Yet still one of the greatest RPGs I've ever played.
There's Hellgate: London, not the perfect game, but combined Diablo-style dungeon crawling elements with FPS elements.
"Sandbox" games, which are becoming more popular, tend to transcend genres easily. ...
