A Diablo game without hack-n-slash is like a MGS game without stealth, or a God of War game without combos, or a Mario game without jumping on people's heads.
It will NEVER happen, and if it did, it would suck 14 kinds of ass.
My TV is an old big screen CRT 1080i HDTV. Many PS3 games (any where the developers didn't bother to add a 1080i option) would be downgraded to 480p, which is hardly a "high definition gaming experience".
My only options are:
1. Buy an expensive new TV.
2. Buy a PS3, HDMI cable, DVI/HDMI connector, a DVI cable, hook up to my 1680x1050 computer monitor and HOPE it looks good. Pretty expensive experiment.

Actually, as long as there's a central service for online gaming ala PSN or XBox Live, it becomes significantly easier to ban hackers.
You won't keep ALL of them out ALL of the time, but you can keep a lot MORE of them out MOST of the time.
I really doubt the PS3 will get a price drop while it still selling better than the 360.
Expect a price drop only after the 360 gets one, which will likely be relatively soon. Right before GTA4 comes out would be most logical.
Eh, the more popular a game is, the more effort people will put forth to create cheats for it.
The simple fact is that both consoles have SIGNIFICANTLY less cheating than the PC version, which is a big reason why most of my online gaming has moved to my 360.

I've already spoken to the party involved, and have agreed to "serve my time" so to speak, despite disagreeing with the reasons for the ban. I know the mods have a hard, thankless job and I don't want to make it any more difficult for anyone.
It's not really a big deal, but I just think, for the future, there should be some sort of general "warning" policy before a banstick starts getting waved around.

I just hope they can pull it off. When the first Max Payne came out, bullet time was a cool, fresh, and original feature in video games.
When the second one came out, it wasn't quite as fresh, but was still fun.
Nowdays, it seems like even PUZZLE GAMES have some sort of Max Payne-esque bullet time. I hope they find some way to make sure the franchise doesn't turn into a pale imitation of, well, itself.

This game is amazing. I bought it Saturday and have had trouble putting my PSP down since.
This is my first God of War game, though I've played bits and pieces of the other two and watched my roommates play them.
Beat it once on hard, beat the unlockable challenges, now playing again on Very Hard (only unlocked after 1st playthrough). I rarely play an action game this much. Once through on normal is usually enough for me.
