Achievements are cool, and add a nice amount of replayability to games that might not otherwise have it, but I don't think they'll win the console war for the 3...
The 60 GB model is going to replace the 20 GB model. It won't cost any more.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if they lower the price of the 20 GB model then quickly replace it with the 60 GB model, or vice-versa, as a sort of 1-2 punch, so that the 60 GB model is available for $300 or so.
Out of curiosity, is anyone else tired of all the SKU crap in this console war? It's one thing for a console to undergo significate hardware revisions once or twice in its lifetime in order to lower the manufacturing costs (see: PS2, PSP, DS, PS1, etc.), but this is getting ridiculous.
Maybe I'm alone here, but I don't want 3 or 4 versions of the same damn console. I enjoy console gaming because of its simplicity compared to PC gaming.

Since when is it "sad" to try and keep your system competitive? They don't have a Blu-ray drive, so they have to try and 1-up the 40 GB PS3 somehow.

I wonder if the 60 GB HD will be sold seperately the same way the 20 GB HD is?
And if so, I wonder if it will come with a "data transfer" option like the 120 GB HD did.

The $50 million dollars Microsoft paid for the content, and the interviews with Rockstar are what "says" there will be two exclusive, downloadable episodes for the 360.
Not trying to fanboy-it-up or anything, but it's just a simple fact. There will be DLC for the 360 that doesn't exist for the PS3.
But that doesn't rule out PS3 DLC that isn't for the 360, it's just less likely/not assured.

I play games mostly because they're interactive stories. Even for games that don't have real stories, like Sins of a Solar Empire, I'll make up little stories in my head.
