It would make sense, if you think about it.
He ruins the movies for games that have decent plots and makes a good movie out of a game that has absolutely no plot whatsoever.
It's clear he thrives on destroying the source material of whatever he's adapting for the screen. For good games, that means destroying them. For bad games, that means, ironically, converting them into good movies.
Why on Earth isn't it wireless? If they're going to bother releasing a new Gamecube controller to "go with" the Wii, it seems only logical it would be wireless.
What a waste of potential. Oh well.
Personally, I just want a small feature - the option to NOT automatically start a game once I put it in the console.
I've searched and searched the menus but have't found such an option so far.
Edit @Below:
Thanks, but I don't mean when the 360 is starting up. I mean once it's already booted, and I'm sitting in the dashboard, and I put in a game or movie, I don't want it to autorun that disc.
Heh, I bet the reason they haven't put IE on there is because it would open up giant security holes, which is the last headline Microsoft needs right now.
"XBox 360's Worldwide Hit By First Widespread Console Virus in History"
Microsoft and proper security are like oil and water. They will never mix, ever.
You know that's cool?
I totally bought one.
It totally broke.
I still like it. I don't regret it. It has fun games, and a lot of my friends have one, so I can play those games with them. The reliability sucks, but I can also play games on my PC or PSP for a month when it's in the shop.
And next time it breaks, I'll probably grab a PS3.
"the 360 sucks and will break on you.. so don't buy it." is a comment...
This is a gaming news site, in theory. I really don't think continuing to post the same "news" articles day after day is going to suddenly make Microsoft press the magical "Make 360's work right" button in their evil underground lair and which sends little faeries flying on rainbow-riding uunicorns around the world to grant the wish of every 360 gamer.
Yeah, it sucks they break as much as they do, and it's an embarassment to Microsoft. Doesn't mean contin...
But if the story fails approval, how will the world see my witty comment?!
I can't bear the thought! It's almost enough to make me do some actual work or something!
Almost.
Will the downloadable movies come with the old-style boomerang conroller?
Wheeeeeeeeeeee boomerang.
(This post is going to look retarded if the submitter changes the article picture)
Boy, I can't wait for GTA4 to launch on October 19th.
Also, I wonder who will win the Superbowl this year? Or what I'll get for Christmas?
What, you mean it's not 2007? THEN WHY ARE WE POSTING ARTICLES FROM THAT YEAR?
Fun facts in this article:
1) 360's fail. A lot. An embarassingly high number, actually.
2) 360's have failed at trade shows
3) Saying "extra heatsinks don't make a difference" without any evidence one way or the other
4) Microsoft offered a 3 year warranty but it's still a pain to have to return the 360
5) The PS3 is a more reliable alternative
Wow, this article is ground-breaking stuff. Is this really what the gaming news ...
Sometimes I hate my state.
Today is one of those days.
"If they did, they wouldnt have gotten a 360."
Hi, 360 owner here. Still consider it a perfectly logical decision. In fact, it brought me back into console gaming after a few year break.
Thanks for your Open Zone-worthy comment, though. Always glad to see that the rules of N4G can't keep a good console war down.
The most interesting thing in this article was learning that there is more than one online game rental service.
It's a bit annoying that they don't ACTUALLY compare the services beyond the stats. I don't care if Service X CLAIMS to be the fastest delivery - I want to know if it IS the fastest.
Viva la Gamefly and the "Keep It" option.
This sounds orgasmic. Rockstar really stepped to the plate and didn't just deliver GTAHD, even though it would've sold a billion trillion copies and taken a fraction of the effort.
I still need to pre-order my copy ASAP. And make sure I don't do anything to piss off the universe, resulting in my 360 dying on April 28th.
Note to self: inform family, friends, job that I will be MIA for a few months. I'm sure they'll understand. And if they don't? Well, GTA4 wi...
Ah, but see, this is N4G, where apparently the only evil corporation is Microsoft and the rest of them are looking out for our best interests.
I hope by "stylus", you actually mean the ACTUAL stylus that comes with the DS...
Apparently Nintendo was tired of being beat by the PSP at the "porn in the palm of your hand" competition.
I still say, once realistic holographic/virtual sex becomes possible and affordable, society will completely and utterly collapse. The fact that Captain Picard didn't spend all day in the Holodeck with his own personal Counselor eTroy was the least realistic thing about Star Trek.
"Captain, we're under attack by Romulans!"
"...
Damn, I know some PC-only gamers who will be annoyed by this.
Oh well, at least it isn't a HUGE delay.
Nothing against the PS3, but how is this article news? It's a damn blog post by Captain NoName of the HMS IWishIHadFriends about a survey some people took on a forum.
Honestly, does anyone think this would've been approved if it were the EXACT same article, but about the 360 or even the Wii? There would've been 50 "lame" reports in the first 10 minutes it was awaiting approval, and the comment section would be filled with "RRoD LOL!!!!"
Such...
Source?
Nah, I'm just kidding. I know you don't have one.
