its not the ideal, and its not anything that M$ actually said, its the stupid people online we don't like. using the cloud based computing (that we've seen 1 tiny demo of, not even on an x1) as a CURRENT SELLING POINT!
theres no telling whether it will work or not, but claiming (currently) that this will even the gap between the two systems is jumping to some SERIOUSLY UNFOUNDED conclusions.

what PSnow does is stream games that a last-gen system can play... its not saying it will make the ps4 more powerful. I'd call BS on that too.
I agree with everything you said, but this is still good for gaming at large. to have sony so focused on gaming is great for me, but i don't want gaming going all causal on us. I'd rather have both main competitors focusing on the hardcore, and not waving your arms and voice commands.

for all the hate COD gets, they do support their games well, the weapon balancing part of the updates is really important. plus, you know if you buy the season pass that there will be quite a bit of content included.

LOL don't get me wrong guys, what i'm saying is NEITHER has an expansive enough library to warrant the "I NEED THIS" level... i love my ps4, on my second playthough of infamous! the problem is, ive got about 7 games, 6 of which are also on ps3.

I dunno man, everybody says the difference between the htc1 and the galaxy s4 was the sd card slot, but on the samsung, you can't run an app from the card, you gotta copy it over... kinda lame if you ask me, i haven't even bought a card yet... so yea, its implied you can store games on it, but i wouldn't be suprised if you couldn't play from the external drive. unless they say something concrete, i assume the worst usually, because if they had something good to say, they'd...
if there were no gap now, there might be a small gap later... but the fact that theres a large gap now, means there will only be a much larger gap later... sure the x1 can push 1080/60, but the quality wont be there... i forsee the devs making the graphics similar all this gen, and keeping the x1 @ 720/30... its the easiest, least time consuming way to close the gap. no actual differenc in programming, just a different display setting.
