i agree, but i don't think #3 will ever happen. nobody wanted kincet, nobody likes kinect, and no devs are dreaming about making a kinect game... now i realise that SOMEONE somewhere likes kinect, i mean "vast majority" by my statements.
its like electric cars 10 years ago. the tech wasn't up to snuff yet, there were too many shortcomings, and nobody wanted one. kinect is similar. until you can play battlefeild flawlessly with it, I don't want to pay...

if the USA didn't close the gap for M$, i don't think any other country will help it... America was M$'s stronghold, if its losing here, thats not good.
my interest hasn't "dwindled" really, but my interest is moving on, in a way... right now my attention is on other games (the order, destiny, the crew, driveclub), its like i lost my "hype" for this game the 3rd time it got pushed back... I hope it does well, and it looks great, but im just not excited for it anymore. I'll definetly check it out, just maybe not day one.

this comes out to be less than $2 a game... seriously, PS+ might be the smartest thing sonys ever done. at least for me lol!
if you were a casual fan and didn't care, you'd probably take that $500 and buy an ipad...
the "ceiling" is an abstract, because it all comes down to who's using it... just like a cars specs, an inferior car might get a better lap time if it has a better driver. ND can push the ps3 further than other devs, but most devs have reached the limit of the last-gen about 2 years ago IMO...
examples: dark souls 1 & 2 look graphically similar, so much so that you could probably trick someone. dynasty warriors 7 & 8 look similar. Halo 3 & 4.

wow, i was just thinking about this yesterday! LOL, and you could play as other killers too, each with their own kind of target (dex: baddies, not allowed to kill innocents) and their own kill style. it'd be pretty sweet, but i can already see the media going ape-shizzle about an ACTUAL serial killer simulator LOL!

its ok if you make a mediocre game. but if you make a mediocre game, and have a franchise pasted on it that people know and love, expect some backlash. Imagine unimpressive game A. it might get reviews in the 7's. Now imagine if they somehow aquired the rights to Uncharted, or Gears of War. I agree. Pushed back usually is for polish or to finish up a few loose ends. But this much of a shove usually shows somethings wrong. think about games pushed back +6 months. the outcome usually isn't good (except south park, which we all knew was just legal mumbo jumbo anyway)
yea, you'd think this would be tailor made for a video game adaptation... oh well, sometimes the easiest looking things are the most challenging.

i just got my mage/knight his 5th spell slot, now i can actually go through an area and use my ammo! im really excited about this game, i just wish the online was a little more friendly to players wanting to group with thier friends..

this is the one game that convinced me not to sell my ps3, and now that ive hit level 90 on it, i can say it was a wise decision! I love dark souls, and im glad the sequel holds up too!

seriously though, all m$ does is make business decisions that HELP them and HURT us... sony and ninty have made some dumb stumbles in the past, but never anything as anti-consumer as m$... IAP's in retail games? kinect noboby wants? everything from the reveal, that we bullied them into recanting? IMO thats a train that needs to be demolished, and rebuilt.
